This comment is coming from a musician, with many years` experience. Those of us, “in the know” , understand that being judged on American Idol, really means very little in real life, because sometimes, even those judged unfairly, poorly, or in any biased way, have STILL gone on to be a success, even after being trashed on American Idol…. So much for “American Idol” , BIG deal !… Let me say that, Ghaleb is a talent, a good musician, singer, performer, entertainer, and a person… And deserves a lot more credit than many people may admit. I hereby speak my mind on his behalf, Ghaleb, keep up the great work, and spirit… You already ARE a success !

I was visiting Ft Lauderdale @ the River Front on May 17. I heard this young man sing in person. He is extremely talented. He certainly doesn’t need the OK of the American Idol team. Time will tell. I bought his CD as many who heard him. I am looking forward to more.

I’ve seen Ghaleb sing many times and I enjoy all of his songs. Personally I think he should of won American Idol Season 7. Ghaleb is another great example of the talented individuals that are in Miami.

She never said the man had no talent. If you read it again she said “it wasn’t terrible but I am not sure it was good enough for American Idol”

See you go slamming someone and you’re all wrong….just loud and wrong….perhaps he would be great at Venezulian Idol-then there will be no “accent” problems. He can probably belt out a spanish song really well, I don’t doubt that at all but all the judges were saying is professionally with that heavy hispanic accent changes the feel of the song he is singing and unfortunately it makes it tough to listen to when you have to figure out what he is trying to say=no record sales, at least in the US. It was constructive criticism and he still made it through so why all the fuss?
This is a great website that allows people to express their opinions on their favorite or non favorite contestants. It’s really not as serious as you are making it out to be. But in all honesty No one said he didn’t have talent. If an American contestant went to Venezuela to be a contestant on their Idol show but didn’t speak the native language well enough to determine what the person is saying or trying to say in their song-admit it, you wouldn’t be too thrilled either.

Just because someone has an accent does not mean that they don’t have talent!!!!!!!!!
He spoke very good English… I would say his English is much better than your STUPID WEBSITE !!!!!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I think we have our next Sanjaya/VoteForTheWorst….if he makes it to the voting part, he will be the new contestant that is subject to the American Idol scandal. Come on judges, the guy can’t even speak english that well and it shows in his singing….it was horrible, Sanjaya was actually better. UGH! I can’t believe I said that….where’s the soap………
