American Idol Season 7 Audition – JP Tjelmeland

JP Tjelmeland auditioned in season 4 and was two people ahead of of Carrie Underwood. He says they were “audition buddies” and that he regrets not keeping in touch with her.

Simon Cowell mentioned that JP’s previous audition was not very good. Joshua then sang “Me and My Gang” and it wasn’t great but I didn’t think it was that out of tune – he just didn’t have a lot of enthusiasm or stage presence.
