Shannon McGough and she physically reminded me of Keira Knightley and Vanessa Hudgens (anyone else see it???). She has won a lot of local singing competitions but it’s her burping that really stood out to me (yuck!!!!). She works for her parent’s at the family meat market and would love to make it in the music industry to get away from that job.
She sang “Cry Baby” and it was horrendous. She said that she’s never had anyone tell her that she can’t sing well and seemed to be really stunned by their rejection.

I worked at the school this girl attended in elementary school. She would sing at school events, and everyone talked about how great she was. I never could hear it, though; I heard flat notes that were just slightly off-pitch. Her voice is decent, but she’s not nearly as good as people think.

I think it’s safe to say that was horrendous. Really bad. And the belching thing was just the icing on the cake.
I think it’s pretty harsh to say she was horrendous. Have you seen her myspace, cause I just checked it out and think that she can sing alot better than she did on American Idol.
I kept thinking she looked like someone! I think Emmy Rossum and Anne Hathaway.
