A glock is something some country singer use effectively. Lee Rimes used it in her song "Blue." It's the main component in yodeling. Valerie needs to get more control of her glock.3) At the end of Valerie's audition she was improvising, the judges don't seem to like that especially if you're not great at it. She needs to learn improvisational techniques too... Down the road Valerie Reyes could be an awesome combination of Mariah and LeAnne. She certainly has Mariah's range and the belief in herself. Practice, practice, practice... I saw her and I fell in love with her beauty and her raw talent. I only wish I could meet her but I'm on the wrong side of the country. Oh well...I hope she continues to sing and gets a really good voice teacher in San Diego out of this experience. Maybe I can see her again in a couple of years at 2010 American Idol Audition.
