The last performance episode of this season is over. Who do you think is going to win the eighth season of American Idol? Will it be the quiet, conservative Kris Allen or the boisterous and lively Adam Lambert? They are both so talented, I seriously can’t guess.
That said, neither of them stood out as doing particularly well tonight. I really did not like the winner’s song (co-written by judge, Kara DioGuardi). What did you think? Take my poll and leave me a comment!

Honestly, i expected more, the finale was very boring compared to last year, and i think Kris has got a very good chance to win it all!
I thought he was better than Adam tonight, specially with that horrible winner’s single, it suited Kris better, but be the best man win!!
But I hope it is Kris!!!

both are very talented, based on last night performance, i think it’s too close to tell.
ADAM WAS THE BEST OF THE NIGHT AND THE ENTIRE COMPETITION. KRIS ALLEN IS A MEDIOCORE SINGER AT BEST. I WOULD BE BORED TO TEARS AT A KRIS ALLEN CONCERT. ADAM IS AN INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTAR. IF ADAM LOSES IT WILL MAKE THE SHOW LOOK RIDICULOUS. THE SHOW IS A SINGING COMPETITION AND BASED ON THAT ADAM IS THE AMERICAN IDOL.
I agree that Adam would fit the mold of a pop star better than Kris. He was truly amazing the entire season. Kris did grow on me when I understood what kind of an artist he is, but he doesn’t excite me. I also agree that the finale was extremely boring. Thank god I watched it on my DVR and was able to forward thru all the BS (pretty much the whole show) I don’t even care to watch who wins, but go Adam!
..adam has to win!he deserve s it m0re than any other contestnt in the competetion..he has the biggest talent among them all..he has the whole package and if kris wins it..i’d be cursing american idol all my lyf..i’ve olredi lost my oder bets..lyk allison en danny..dey’r a lot bttr than kris to be in the finale..g0 adam!!!we all love en support y0u!!.
Adam deserves to win. I truely believe that even if he doesn’t win, he will be more successful than Kris. I’m not knocking Kris’ musical and vocal ability at all, I think he is a good artist, but I think Adam has consistent each week and nailed every performance. I voted 300 times last night and hope Adam wins!!!!
What’s up with that last song Kara co-wrote? That was not a good choice. THey should go back to making it a contest among viewers or have a former Idol winner write one…..any other suggestions?
Too close to call. I do not think Adam is that great of a singer. I think he is a talented showman but I never liked screaming. Kris is equally talented with his voice, and playing the quitar and piano. Both guys seem very nice, so I don’t know. None of the performances this year blew me away like past seasons.
Adam is very talented and has great stage presence but I think Kris is a more diversified performer and more mainstream. That being said they will both have great careers but Kris will be the next American Idol.
ok it doesnt matter who wins ive been thinking alot lately and yes this is my favorite show but it seems there doing it to bring the runner up down but then again i there doing it to get careers goin for the contestants so adam and kris who ever wins deserves it becasue they are both amazing singers and they both rocked the stage last night….i want adam to win but if he dnt its fine he’kll get a career…good luck guys i love u both
