Tonight, the eighth season of American Idol begins tonight with auditions in Phoenix, Arizona. We’re going to get to see how the whole Wild Card process works and, of course, what it’s like having Kara DioGuardi on the judges panel!

Why didn’t you come outside for the top 10 American Idol performance in Toronto.
I like cara because she’s honest to what she says unlike paula who sometimes sugarcoats her comments if she has nothing to say anymore. Cara has a good background whent it comes to the music industry and she deserves to be there.
I LOVE the new judge Kara! She has a great reputation and knows her stuff. Give her a chance! She has a little attitude which is much needed around Simon and she’s also hilarious! I think she fits in nicely and is a great asset to the show!
I HATE the new judge! She adds nothing. It is so stupid to have her on there. She has nothing constructive to say…she is not interesting….I just can not stand having her there. She is a distraction. Whose stupid idea was this anyway?
