If you remember season 2 of American Idol, you will remember Josh Gracin. The former Marine had a good voice, sweet smile and has done relatively well in the Country music sector.
He recently announced that he would be touring the Persian Gulf this summer in support of our troops overseas.
Josh will leave his wife and three children at home in Nashville to play shows and spend time with the troops stationed throughout the Persian Gulf. The overseas tour is sponsored by the Armed Forces MWR (Morale, Welfare & Recreation) division and Stars for Stripes.
“It means a lot to me to do this,” Josh said. “As a former Marine it’s important for me to give back to our men and women in uniform. I hope these shows can help them to escape for just a moment and bring a little piece of home to our folks serving overseas.”
The former “American Idol” contestant’s self-titled debut CD is certified gold by the RIAA and has sold over 680,000 copies. The first single from the project, “I Want To Live,” was also his first hit, climbing to No. 4 on the country charts. Josh’s second single, “Nothin’ To Lose,” was his first No. 1 record. His third single “Stay With Me (Brass Bed)” was also a Top 5 hit, giving him three consecutive Top 5 songs.

Awww, good for him! I liked Josh when he was on Idol…I remember balling when he got voted off and he picked up his baby and sang his final song with her in his arm…I was a mess…well ok maybe a dork for crying but… he seems like a sweetheart and I’m glad he is doing this…cool guy! Go Josh!
hi there i just wanted to say that i love the show when he got voted out but i was not happy i was mad that he had to leave the show i really want him as a country singer to win but i guess when it is your time to leave you have to leave so well i just want it to say that he has a nice voice i would like to hear him sing to me when i am laying down in bed but i dont have his cd and know won that i know has it where i am from so i guess i will do with out listen to him i like to also go in to the computer i watch his videos so that is one way i here him sing and see him in concert but my family will not take me to see him because they know how i am i would like to go out with him but i just turned 18 today july 5 so my dream would be to go see him. Well i have to go i will write more later
