American Idol’s first major upset was the exclusion of Josiah Leming from this season’s Top 24. Indeed, I was shocked as well. In fact, I still can’t believe it. Either way, he will be on the Ellen DeGeneres Show tomorrow and I will definitely be putting a video up here and on my other site, Daytime Talk.
Here’s what is says on Ellen’s site: “18-year-old JOSIAH LEMING was surprisingly eliminated from “American Idol” last week, just missing out on being a part of the Top 24. It was an incredible upset so I’m having him stop by to tell us what happened. I think he got robbed so I’m going to make sure he leaves saying, “Whutt The February?”

I LOVE HIM!
Josiah was the reason I started watching American Idol again, after losing interest the last several seasons. Witnessing such raw, genuine talent in Josiah made me actually believe in the show again. But I obviously grossly over-estimated the show’s integrity. What a shame. I would like to hear more of his music. Hope someone signs him.
Josiah is an incredible song writer and musician. This boy is going to be huge one day. Getting kicked of Idol is the best thing that could have happened to him. Idol only wants pop singers that can be molded into whatever they want and then owned and manipulated. Josiah will be a creative force that will be recognized by other musicians in the industry.
Somebody should sign him cause this boy will someone a lot of money. His fan base is huge already and growing.
He was very good… yes.. but he was too much of a crybaby.. he wined way to much.. he would have got killed in the actual competition.
I can’t wait to see how it goes on Ellen… I really liked him, and I still can’t believe he is so young and SO TALENTED. I tend to agree with Claudio that it’s probably better for Josiah in the long run that he didn’t make the top 24.

whats the big deal about this kid? he is not an awesome performer, he is talented yes, but not extraordinary, besides it was his attitude what kicked him off the competition, he was always saying all he had was A.I., that he lived in his car, and wined all the time, when he dismissed the band, he said “it took a lot of guts to do that”
hello? come on? he was the only one with guts, he was the only one that was nervous, there was a girl that lost her father and wasnt playing the “im so unfortunate” poor Josiah..he is so unfortunate, he lives in his car, his life is a tragedy..poor poor Josiah
