Does anyone remember Quiana Parler? She was one of the top 49 contestants on the second season of American Idol. Since then, she has toured with Clay Aiken and Kelly Clarkson. A great Idol Stalker reader sent me some video of her performing in Dreamgirls in Raleigh, North Carolina over the weekend (click image to enlarge).

QUIANA can blow those pipes of hers. It’s beyond me as to why she was cut from IDOL.They wouldn’t recognize great singing if it jumped up &bit them.They promote who they want to ,knowing it kind of sways the publics voting.

I really like her version so many people have attempted this song and some really havent done it very but she is good
Wow – goosebumps. Dare I say, I prefer her vocal performance on that song over Jennifer Hudson’s version (though Hudson appears the better actress)…
What happened to her in season 2 to only make the top 49? I don’t remember her at all.
She is a great singer and I have seen her perform countless times with Clay at his concerts!
Actually, both she and Angela Fisher, as Clay’s “back-up singers” for the past five years have voices better than any other female coming out of Idol since Kelly Clarkson of season one!
Both their voices are better than Fantasia, Jordin, Kimberly Locke and Carrie Underwood!
She is without a doubt a fantastic singer and a very charming personality. I have seen her with Clay at his concerts and love her.
