According to Reality TV World, more than 8,000 women tried out for Cycle 9 of ANTM. That’s quite the turn-out. Women were camping out overnight for their chance at stardom.
“There are girls who get on their hands and knees and cry, cry, cry,” said casting director Michelle Mock-Falcon. “Some girls say they have ‘it,’ but they don’t know what ‘it’ is.”
The height cut-off was 5’7″ and not an inch shorter. Girls were turned away who didn’t make the height requirement regardless of how much ‘it’ they had.
I wouldn’t even have made it past the door, at 5’2″. Heh. Reminds me of the carnivals where you had to be so tall to ride the rollercoaster.
Anyone out there show up to the auditions? How was it?

i heard they are no longer continuing ANTM so there will be no cycle 11
does anyone know when the auditions for cycle 11 will be? please keep us posted whoever runs this site! :] i just recently turned 18, so my parents are letting me audition now. i’m so excited!!!

my comment and question is why the agency never come to Tn? when wiil cycle 11 open calls be held and where? my comment is tn have very beautiful and talented girls who don’t know their way always runing into the wrong people.

I want to know when the casting calls for cycle 11 begin. im 6’0 and weigh 160. Looking foward to auditioning.
my whole thing is this i went and i didnt make it and im not mad but its amazing how nobody from #200 and down didnt make it to the last round and i didnt think that was fair we stood in the line just as long as they did and had to stick around for them to see all the other people that came and nothings wrong with that but i felt like it wasnt fair to the bunch of girls that came early and on time and had what it took not to make it believe me i felt like i was one of the girls i wouldnt care what kind of scars i have i got what it takes and willin to do what it takes to so next time take into consideration of the people who do come early and stand out because they got talent to i know its alot of people who come and i know you get tired of seeing people after a while and you just want to get it over but thats only fair for you to try and remember thats all im saying
THA CASTING WENT VERY WELL 4 ME, BUT NO TELLING HOW THINGS WILL TURN OUT 4 ANYBODY UNTIL THAT TIME COMES, I GUESS HOLD ON 2 ALL HAPPY THOUGHTS!!

It went GREAT! Was so weird because I had no idea I’d be interviewed in front of a camera!! Also had to walk in front of it!
It was so awesome though!! Went with my mom and even if I don’t make it, I will KEEP TRYING! It was to funny, I couldn’t stop laughing while I was in line.. Felt so Butterfly tummiesh when i realized my dreams semi were coming true :)
IM 5’9″ SO MY HEIGHT IS DEFINATLEY NOT AN ISSUE AND MY PERSONALITY IS OFF THE WALL I FEEL LIKE MY AUDITION WENT GREAT BUT THERES STILL SOMETHING IN THE BACK OF MY HEAD TELLING ME IM CRAZY IF I THINK I MADE IT….SO WHEN WILL WE GET THE RESULTS BEFORE I LOOSE MY DAMN MIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I definitely tried out, and even though i measure out to 5’7″, the dmv guessed an approximate height on my DL and put 5’5″. does that ruin everything for me?
