So tonight there was a recap episode of America’s Next Top Model and my Tivo was having issues and didn’t tape. Grrr…Anyway I only saw the last 10 minutes.
When it goes up on the CW Top Model page I’ll be sure to watch it though.
Personally I really don’t like the recap episodes. What did you guys think of tonight’s episode? Did you watch it?
Next week’s preview looks awesome though. They’re going to film a music video! I can’t wait.

Recaps are useful only in that we get to see some other shenanigans we otherwise would have missed. Also, in Victoria’s case, it gave Tyra yet another chance to show us why she hates smart girls. The panel segment at which Victoria was booted was extended just ever so much to reflect Victoria’s comments in exit interviews that she was asking questions so she could better her performance in the competition. Then Tyra extended the interchange between Twiggy and Victoria to undercut Victoria’s assertion that she wasn’t pushy/prickly. Well done, Tyra! I just love historical reconstruction the same as the next right thinking person. Reminds me of the time you promised Cassie in Cycle Three that you wouldn’t give up on her and her bulemia. Then, in the episode following Cassie’s booting, you sat in your bed with your mommy, crying that you didn’t know what to do. Good ol’ mom gave you absolution by saying that lost souls needed to realize they were lost before you could save them. Seriously. You’re amazing at how you spin your self-rightousness. Ebony’s lucky she didn’t get a tongue lashing, not that we’ll ever see the outtakes. I’m sure those are burned. Grrr. The recaps could also be burned.
