Last night, Saturday January 30th, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie attended the prestigious Directors Guild Awards. Brad was presenting Quentin Tarantino and naturally Angelina was there with Brad.
Angelina wore a strapless green gown and Brad wore his usual Tom Ford suit. Below we see Angelina signing something for someone in a notebook.
I’m hoping to find some video footage of Brad doing the presentation for Quentin.
E Online said that Angelina was chuckling throughout Brad’s speech – no wonder, it looks like he got pretty animated and hilarious!
I have to say that Brad looks GREAT! I definitely prefer when he keeps the facial hair under control. Between his hair growing out a bit longer and his trimmed beard (not to mention the usual Tom Ford suit) Brad was super hot up there!
Looking at this picture of Angelina congratulating Quentin, I had to stop for a second because it suddenly occurred to me how amazing it would be for Quentin Tarantino to direct Angelina Jolie in a new movie one day. That would be incredible!
Meanwhile, People wrote up about the evening out and it sounds like it was a wonderful and affectionate date night for Brad and Angelina.
Although I was rooting for Quentin to win, the award went to Kathryn Bigelow who directed The Hurt Locker. I saw that movie as well and I generally don’t enjoy war movies that much but I loved that one so it’s well-deserved – and it’s also the first time a woman has won, so I applaud her for doing such a great job!
I’ll keep an eye out for more photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the DGAs but it’s a bit harder. It’s less of a paparazzi event than the other awards shows. Not as many agencies are invited and Getty is not a pap-based agency so we may not have as many photos as we’d like. Since the show’s not even televised I’m not even sure there’s really any kind of red carpet walk like other shows. I’ll let you know what I find though!
WE NEED MORE PHOTO’S OF ANGIE AND THAT BEAUTIFUL DRESS. PLEASE POST SOME MORE. I AM DRUNK AND I HAVEN’T DRANK ANY WINE.

Glad to see Brad and Angelina making an appearance together and putting the rumors to bed. That color looks great on Angelina. Those are some nice pictures, though it’s annoying how on Picapp pictures you can always see the pixels. I wish Fotoglif still put up Getty pictures but now they’re always so slow, although there are some from Reuters there relatively quick. Anyway, thanks Sherry for keeping this site so up to date every day!

I have never thought until now that Brad and Benicio ? looked alike as some suggested. Man, that thumbs up pic, and the proceeding one really make me rethink things. Either way, the man (Brad) is fine, fine, fine infinity.
I know that you are trying to show the world it’s not about you but the care for Haiti, but everyone just love to see the both of you,you photograph so well together and when it’s not a together picture it seems if though something is missing. Thanks so much for the pictures,Brad looks like he trimmed his beard and Angie is glowing and looks simply devine. I personally love a straggly beard it has definitely took off, Brad is a trend setter with the facial hair. Again thank you for the beautiful pictures, Angie you have a glow that is beautiful so, whatever you are doing keep doing it.GOD BLESS BOTH OF YOU AND THE FAMILY.

Well, if JV says its solid I’m at peace. so glad they are good and so sorry they have and their families, especially the Pitts have to endure this malicious gossip. The sodid stories of Angies affair mus have broken Jane’s heat. Wish it would ll just stop. It must put such strain on the relationship een if they do try to ignore it.
Thanks Sherry for the pics! It was so wonderful to see them together. As always they looked beautiful. Does anyone know when they are leaving for Venice? As for all the haters…..screw them. Why are they even looking at these websites if they just have nasty things to say? They are a waste of space.
Wow, this is a treat. Angelina looks so beautiful & Brad looks very manly. I loved the BBC video. I enjoyed Brad’s humor & the picture of them together on the video. Thanks for posting the link. Happy Sunday to you all.
Oh, and Ashley, my advice to you is to ignore those people. I’m sure most of the people who are saying things like that are h8ters, who always try to claim stuff like that. :)
I just re-read the PEOPLE article, and they’ve updated it a bit since last night. These tidbits especially made me smile:
“They look like they are having a fun time,” says an onlooker of the couple as they worked the room. “It’s definitely a date.”
It was a long night, lasting more than four hours, but Pitt and Jolie, who stayed close the entire time, didn’t seem to mind.
“They were extremely affectionate,” says an onlooker.
Ashley- The picture at the table doesn’t look strained to me. Plus, several sites (including Eonline and PEOPLE.com) have detailed reports saying that they were “laughing and cuddling” at the table, that they “seemed really focused on each other”, and that they looked “very much in love”. :)

Wish we could get a clip of Brad’s whole intro for Quentin. But that clip was pretty funny. So nice to see them together.
Many people are saying that it is strange that there are no red carpet photos of them together, and even the pic of them at the table looks a little strained.
But, I’m sure the break up rumors are just that, rumors. They constantly talk about the respect they have for each other and how each makes the other better, more complete.

Keats- I just went to TMZ, and they DO have an article about Angie and Brad at the DGA’s, but nowhere do they say they arrived sepertely. They even updated the post to include the video clip of them sitting together. :)
