Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt hit the red carpet at the Santa Barbara Film Festival on February 2nd. Continuing with last week’s super flowing dress, this time Angelina was seen in a loose black blouse and equally loose long skirt. Meanwhile, Brad was full of smiles, wearing a grey suit and white shirt without a tie.
At the festival Angelina Jolie was awarded with the Outstanding Performance of the Year for her role in A Mighty Heart. Even better, it was presented by Clint Eastwood who recently directed her on the set of The Changeling.
When asked about Clint, Angelina said:
“Clint Eastwood? Don’t get me started. I could talk forever about him. I could turn the whole evening into a Clint Eastwood evening . . . . I think he’s just a genuinely great guy. He’s nice to everybody on set.”

God for you, Lucy. I know it isn’t always comfortable to bring up a different/opposing view. Angelina needs us to stand up for her – you know, speak truth to power. So many lies have been told about Angelina the past 3 years that too many people think the lies are true.
I honestly don’t like the outfit. Makes her look frumpy and overall gives her body no shape. I actually wish they would go ahead and announce the pregnancy or come out and say it isn’t true. Then the continuous “Is she or isn’t she?” headlines would stop. I guess maybe they are waiting until she is safely past her first trimester (a lot of other celebs have done that). I will be very happy for them if it’s true and if not, then we all know they will expand in due time. The media must seriously be starved for any news at all if they keep recycling this story every week!!
I don’t think they are having a little fun at the fans’ expense. In the past on at least 2 separate occasions after the birth of Shi, when asked if she was expecting, Angie was quick to say no. And the fact that she wears big, loose clothes indicates to me that she is pregnant. When pregnant with Shi she did not have to make any public appearances, so she was able to keep it under wraps until they were ready to announce it. Now she has several RC appearances early in her pregnancy. She is not ready to talk about it, so she wears loose clothing. Her lastRC appearances are a throw-back to the 40′s, 50′s and 60′s. When they are ready to announce it, after she gets further alone, she might select more revealing clothing. But one thing is sure, whatever she wears it will be unique but tasteful.
I kind of feel like Brad and Angie would not play games with the public. I just saw today that Gwen has not acknowledged her pregnacy, it was her father-in-law. So maybe if they are having another baby they will make an annoucement someday.
IMO, she’s either preggers or having a bit of fun with fans. I certainly would if I were her…who wouldn’t want to mess around some with all of the speculators ;-)
She needs to fire her stylist, she has turned a cool women into a 80 old grandma. IF you say you like this you are lying.
Nice to see her wearing some colour again, I guess it’s just over a year since her mum died.

I was a little knowledgeable before my son even got into the industry – I’m a movie buff from a loooong time back. And I’ve always loved the behind the scenes stuff.

Ligaya, hope you do not mind, but checked out Half Nelson on my computer and was able to see your son and his co-writer. I don’t want to say to much other than what a talented person he is. No wonder you are so knowledgable about the workings of the movie industry. I always enjoyed your postings, but more than ever now I will appreciate your remarks. Hope you do not think I am to nosy.
Brad looks so delicious!…he is a DEFINITE DILF!…and Angie is always stunning. I didn’t like her outfit on first glance, but when I got a close-up look at the skirt and saw the beautiful beeding work on it, I changed my mind. I usually like seeing her in a more youthful style of clothes, but this choice is very classy as well. I wish her acceptance speech and the SBIFF telecast was online, but I cant find it. I will wait for the pregnancy announcement from the Jolie-Pitts, but I certainly hope the pregnancy rumour is true!
I like her dress. The colors are realy nice and with the black top it has a elegant touch – it fits her realy good (and Brad has of course a matching suit :))
They are so lovely and good to their fans even with those yelling and flashbulbs. I went to a Superbowl party today and nearly got into a fight. When the “Wanted” commercial came on one of the guests commented that Angie is pregnant again and that Brad is a cheater. I said, “since when does a divorced man who fell in love with another woman and have children with another woman a cheater?” Boy, it never ends. Too bad the Patriots lost. My husband said, Eli Manning made a statement when he was being drafted that he does not like to live in San Diego, he hates the team and he will never live there. He was booed in San Diego when he played against the Chargers there. He hates California.

The 2008 Spirit Awards Telecast on IFC – the Independent Channel, is on February 23, 2008 (as usual the day before the Oscars) with edited rebroadcast on AMC the same day.
If there’s no Oscar RC if the writers strike (my son’s one) is still on, the Independent Spirit Awards will have even more stars than usual.
I expect Angelina & Brad to be there since she’s a Best Actress nominee – plus AMH is up for a lot of awards. And they’ll probably want to visit with Irrfan Khan (The Captain) who’s nominated for The Namesake. (I’m an ISA member so I have the privilege of voting for Angie & the rest of the AMH team, as well as Irrfan.)
Angie can never look bad, but I like the top & bottom separately – the black top with black/white print bottom, or hot pink top with black/white/pink bottom.

Not sure how I feel about the Angie’s outfit.
But they look happy and relaxed as usual. It’s great that she remembered him in her speech.

They look so hott, and its hard to tell if she is pregnant because she is wearing such loose clothes maybe she is tring to hide heopefullY! Does anyone know if angie and brad will be going to the spirit awards and when are they?
