Angelina Jolie Beowulf Interview

This video interview is awesome. Angelina Jolie speaks in an interview about Beowulf, as well as everyone’s favorite topic lately, her life as a mother to her and Brad Pitt’s awesome kids. I’m so excited about the release of Beowulf that I need videos like this to tide me over until I can see it!

Lucy, like you I like Susan Roces & FPJ. Angie’s looks reminds me of Susan.
By the way, We are going to see Beowulf at IMax Theater on Saturday, Ligaya said it’s a lot better to see it on 3D so that’s what we are going to do (my husband & I), we are driving 45 minutes to go to Imax, it’s a bit expensive but it’s worth the money specially if it’s Angie’s movie.
Goonight everyone. Have to cook dinner Pancit guisado.

tia leona, I saw a mention of this also early this morning on a local NY station. They were quoting one of the gossip magazine’s. I have learned from this site and my own personal experience that only People gives accurate stories. And I have been looking on People on and off all day and have seen nothing. They said that Zahara’s mother claims she never signed any adoption papers. Zahara was in very poor medical condition when Angelina and Brad brought her to the States. In fact Angelina took her to her friend the ped. doctor in NY and she put her in the hospital. And if my memory serves me right Brad came back from that trip sick also. If any one was to try to take Zahara away from the Jolie-Pitt’s it would be horrible.

Good interview, thanks. Also happy about the Economist. She also did a great job on an article for the Washington Post, so she is very talented.

Just as an FYI, People Magazine corrected their incorrect story about the “tear in the pants”. Good to know that some magazines are willing to correct mistakes on ocassion. Thanks again.

Why do the rags like In Touch And L& S hate Angie so much? She makes Brad happy . She loves her children. This last hit about Zahara’s real mother wanting her back huts not just Angie but Brad slo. They both love Z and it is disgusting. I wish I could do something other than just not but those rags.

I always visit the site, but never post. I really enjoy reading and seeing the latest of the Jolie-Pitt family! Unfortunatley, at work I cannot access videos with sound…can anyone be kind enough to type up a couple of the highlights of the interview?? I would be so glad!

She’s so pretty in that interview. She looks radiant, her skin is glowing and she looks happy. I’m so happy for her!

ligaya, popsugar is not much better than d’listed or perez. one of the moderators, molly writes the most snarky comments on angie. they live to hate there.
i remember in one of her interviews, cant remember if it was print or tv, she said brad reads all of her articles before she submits them. they are really a force to be reckoned with.

Not ghostwritten – AJ has the capacity and probably one of the uniquely qualified people to speak on the subject because of her interest and many, many visits there….but probably edited – which ALL articles must have.

Great interview. Thank you Sherry. You are awesome. Ligaya, Angie is very intelligent. She is indeed beauty and brains and talent. Critics and “trolls” want to put her down to get their 15 minutes of fame too. I bought the AMH DVD over the weekend. It was the last one on the Blockbuster shelf. Yes fellow pinays, I like some of the old stars like Susan Roces, Fernando Poe Jr. (R.I.P.) I even have a couple of VHS of Susan.

Excerpts from the article are under moderation.

I’m totally stoked (archaic slang to most of you :-) )! What an accomplishment for Angelina! Already on popsugar the Angelina critics say this article was ghostwritten.

    Jolie writes for Economist annual
    Caitlin Fitzsimmons Guardian Unlimited
    Tuesday, November 13 2007

Jolie: has acted as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
To her roles as Hollywood actress, UN goodwill ambassador and mother, Angelina Jolie can now add another – writer for the Economist.

The high-minded economic and political weekly has secured a sprinkling of stardust for The World in 2008, which is published tomorrow and contains predictions for next year.

Jolie’s piece on accountability for the atrocities in Darfur sits alongside contributions from several presidents, an exiled god-king, the head of the United Nations and other political heavyweights.

The annual spin-off to the Economist retails for £4.95 and covers topics ranging from global warming to the politics of Latin America.

Now in its 22nd year, the publication is sold internationally and will remain on news-stand shelves all year.

The field of high-profile contributors includes French president Nicolas Sarkozy, Mexican president Felipe Calderón, the Dalai Lama, New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, and Korean-born UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon.

The Economist has also made audio interviews with the authors available to download as podcasts, available from http://www.economist.com/theworldin.

Angelina has an article in the latest Economist!:

World must target crimes against humanity in 2008: Jolie

Tue Nov 13, 12:04 PM ET

LONDON (AFP) – Prosecuting the perpetrators of genocide and other crimes against humanity is the best way to prevent further atrocities, actress Angelina Jolie said, urging tougher action in 2008.

“Accountability is perhaps the only force powerful enough to break the cycle of violence and retribution that marks so many conflicts,” the Hollywood star wrote in The Economist magazine’s “The World in 2008″, out on Wednesday.

The actress, who is a goodwill ambassador to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), said she hoped the coming year will see the international community seek “true accountability” for victims, particularly in Darfur.

“Through accountability we can begin the process of righting past wrongs, and even change the behaviour of some of the world’s worst criminals,” she said.

In the full-page article seen by AFP on Tuesday, she said international tribunals like those set up after the 1994 genocide in Rwanda or following conflict in the Balkans have the power to change behaviour.

Jolie — one of a number of high-profile world figures to contribute to the publication — said she had met a teenage boy from Darfur on a recent UNHCR mission to a refugee camp in neighbouring Chad who said he wanted those responsible to be put on trial.

“I hope that the Sudanese government will hand over the government minister and the Janjaweed militia leader who have been indicted for war crimes (by the International Criminal Court in The Hague), and that the teenager I met in Chad will get the trial he seeks,” she added.

“I hope that those responsible for the atrocities in Darfur will be held to account, not only for that young man’s sake, but for the world’s.”

Ditto, BlessBrangelina. Let’s hear it for fewer personal questions, more on her work. She looks rested & relaxed here.

Thanks Sherry, you did it again. Which media did the interview?

I really like Angie’s appearance in this interview.

The hair is really nice to the point that I’m going to try my hair like that tomorrow.

I love watching interviews instead of reading cause you can seee her use her hands and pauses. Like at the parks she’s thinking and what words are empahized.

Angie looks really content with her life right now. She’s smiling. and her skin is radiant.

    MY IDOL GETS PERFECTER!!!

Thanks for the video, Sherry. Love the format of it and she wasn’t asked to discuss her personal life for once, that’s cool!

She looks really beautiful with or without make up. She is such a good mother, partner to Brad & humanitarian. I really admire her more . I guess, in no time, she will get pregnant again, for now, it is still early, the kids are still very young.

  19. By heaven

is it so bad to wish that she may be pregnant? she is the epitome of a woman… she’s normal like us, we go through stages in life, she made some decisions that does not conform to the norms of life. i find it funny that people scorn her because she is constantly changing herself for the better…. she had her moment to live for herself, now she lives for others… who doesnt admire that?
