All work and no play is no fun for anyone, so during a break in the filming of Salt today, everyone celebrated a crew member’s birthday by busting out a nice chocolate cake.
Angelina Jolie was spotted eating her cake with her handcuffs still dangling from one wrist. I guess she was planning to get right back into character again – either that or someone lost the key!
Working on your birthday kind of sucks sometimes, but it wouldn’t be so bad if you got chocolate cake and got to eat it with Angelina right?

y1y2- I know I’m not Sherry, but I heard that, too, and, if I’m remembering correctly, Sherry even did a post about it. The post was titled something like “Brad and Angelina Movie News” and also included some news about Brad’s upcoming movies, so you may have missed it.
Anyway, it sounds like Patricia Cornwell movie is still very much in the planning stages. With that and the fact that Angie has said that she will be taking another year to a year and a half off after Salt finishes filming makes me believe that the Cornwell movie won’t begin filming until around this time next year at the very earliest.

According to the British publication, Brad was so overjoyed and got so swept away in the frenzy of the moment, that he simply could not but open his heart to the reporter on the state of affairs in his household, at the same time squashing rumors of a possible split. No matter what the tabloids say, he and Angelina are happy, Brad insists – as a matter of fact, he can honestly say he’s never been happier in his life than he is now.
“I am in love and I have the most beautiful family – what else can a guy want? I am the happiest man ever. My daughter from Africa is beautiful. We’re so lucky to have her and to have children from around the world. They’re all fantastic and we would love another. Who knows, maybe we’ll have one in London, I’d like that.” Brad reportedly told the publication at Cannes, during one of the many parties he and Angelina attended.

As joliepittfanatic wrote Kay Scarpetta project is still in developping stage. It will take at least one year even if it will be made. I think it is very interesting that a powerful female mover like Amy Pascal (top of Columbia Pictures) had been wanting Angie for years and finally got her (Salt) or another powerfull female mover Elizabeth Gabler(top of Fox 2000) is so enthusiastic for working with Angie.
Angie can survive HW without agents though it is getting harder and harder. She and Charize Theron are only two A-list actresses without agents. This year’s Oscar nominees, Kate, Meryl, Anne, Penerope,Taraji etc are all powerful CAA’s clients and big talent agencies can virtually make films these days instead of timid studios.

Hey, guys do not forget to vote for our Angie on the site of 2009 MTV Movie Awards. There are only several days left. As you already know she is nominated in three categories. I hope she wins them all or at least one. So, vote please!

Salute for Sinise
In town to serve as an honorary marshal of the National Memorial Day Parade, actor Gary Sinise stopped off at The Washington Times’ newsroom Monday for a lunch date with reporters and editors.
Referring to himself as a “humanitarian, not a political activist,” Mr. Sinise, who famously portrayed Lt. Dan in the Academy Award-winning film “Forrest Gump,” is the co-founder of Operation Iraqi Children, which delivers school supplies and toys to the young in the war zone. He also has entertained troops for the USO with his band, the Lt. Dan Band.
Mr. Sinise said that in addition to playing a wounded soldier in “Forrest Gump,” personal experience has bonded him with military families. Mr. Sinise has two brothers-in-law who are Vietnam veterans, and he said he learned firsthand about the plight of veterans when one of them waited until “about three years ago” to receive his military benefits.
Speaking of co-stars, what does Mr. GARY SINISE think of his most famous colleague, actress Angelina Jolie, who played his wife in the biopic “Wallace”?
“She has done a lot for refugees in Iraq. She’s a great gal.”

phoebe- I saw that, too. I hope the tabs don’t notice the part about Brad mentioning them possibly having a kid in London. If they do, they’re sure to pounce all over it (at least, though, that would be a postive Angie and Brad rumor for a change!).
Angie has mentioned that they will be adopting next, plus it hasn’t even been a year since the twins were born, so even if they DO have another bio kid and Angie gives birth to him/her in London, it probably won’t be any time soon.
Brad probably just meant that they might have a kid in London at some point in the future. Considering the publication is a London-based one (the Mirror, I believe), it’s also possible that Brad just said that to be polite and/or because he knew it would make the reporter and the British public (the fans, obviously, not the h8ters) smile. :)
Also, someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure that the Mirror, while a bit more reliable than other tabs, has been known to get things wrong (for example, wasn’t the Mirror one of the publications that ran the false story about the J-P kids running wild at the Waldorf when they J-Ps were in town for the BAFTAs?), make things up, and print things from other tabs in the past.
They may have made the interview up or embelished it a little here and there.
Mimi- I agree with you as well. I don’t understand how people think Angie is starving herself all the time! I mean, Angie herself said back in 2007 that she doesn’t want to be scary skinny (this was when she was addressing all the weight she lost as a result of her mother’s death) and that her goal is not “to fit into skinny jeans” or something like that.
Also, Angie has always been naturally thin (she’s even said so herself!). Her “Lara Croft” body was the result of her beefing up for the role, as was the buff body she sported in other films.
What I really find ridiculious is the fact that people were even claiming that Angie was starving herself during her pregnancy with Shiloh (not sure about when she was pregnant with the twins) and while breastfeeding Shiloh and then the twins. I mean, I hardly think Angie would deprive her kids of the nutrients they need!

This photo tells more than a thousand words:Angelina Jolie is eating and what is she eating:chocolate cake! Maybe now the rags can forget about that topic. I just hate it when the rags say that she is starving herself. She has a great metabolism and therefore is slim. And besides she has six kids who take care of her excercise pretty well. Now that the twins are almost 11 months old they sure are starting to learn to walk and keep their older sibliings and parents in motion. So stop harassing Angie and her eating habits, rags! She eats just like any one of us!
