Angelina Jolie was photographed in Albany, and was having a very relaxing weekend – hanging on to the top of a truck while filming a high speed truck scene!
Angie (also seen with her stunt double), appears to have climbed up (or dropped down!) onto the top of a large blue truck and is seen tethered for safety as the truck moves.
In the scenes, Angelina is back to blond with the cap and same outfit that she wore back in Washington, DC.
I don’t remember who it was here at PittWatch that first mentioned it, but apparently Angelina’s stunt double mostly does the set-up, and then Angie does the actual stunt herself whenever possible. I consider her to be pretty brave (and tough!) for doing that because I’m clumsy enough that I would definitely have every single stunt harder than a somersault done by a stunt expert!
Looks like Brad Pitt, Maddox, Pax, and the Pitt grandparents got the true relaxation this weekend, compared to Angelina‘s busy work day!

She must have been hot in that coat. Not sure about Albany, but in PA we hit low 90s. Upper state NY would not usually be too much cooler.
This woman is amazing!!!She must be very brave to do scenes like this one!Angie inspires me more amd more every time I see her.She is a great woman and mother,she cares about others and helps people who need help and she is also a great actress.She really loves what she is doing and is a true professional!!!
wow another pictures of Angie on the set of her film “Salt”. Yes she’s a brave woman & a loving mother of six beautiful kids. I can’t wait for this action- thriller movie , this will be another blockbuster for 2010. thanks for these pictures Sherry and those pictures of Brad’s in Niagara falls .. I miss the whole family…I’m sure we’ll see them at the Cannes Festival . :-)

Jpfanatic, why would anyone believe a tabloids saying she’s pregnant when she’s filming an action movie? bizarre.
I remember reading something from the producers or directors of Tomb raider. They said Angelina was absolutely fearless during the filming /stunts.
Well, these pictures should pretty much put to rest any pregnancy rumors!

Has anyone else noticed that some in the media have a problem in calling Angelina an action star? People.com referred to some of her more well-known action roles in Wanted, Lara Croft and MAMS as “characters with hard edges”. WTF?! Her action movies have made millions of dollars worldwide, so why the reluctance to call her an action star? Would they call out Will Smith and Tom Cruise as playing these so-called hard edged characters?
To me, Angelina plays alpha female characters who are confident and secure in their ability to look after themselves and not relying on a man to do it for them.
I was watching Playing by Heart last nite and there is a scene where a guy tries to pick her up her character at a club. She says no, but the guy is persistent, so she knees him in the groin, throws a drink in his face almost like an afterthought and goes about her business. She knows how to handle herself.
What’s the deal with all these actresses now wanting to play action roles? I saw a promo on CNN for Beyonce to appear on Larry King and talk about her “action” role. I certainly wouldn’t classify her latest role as an “action” film by any stretch of the imagination.
Is this CAA’s latest attempt at diminishing Angelina’s very visible screen presence by downplaying that she is a certified action star worldwide right along with the boys who currently dominate the genre?
Angie just has too much energy. Vanessa H. said she loves anything Angie does. She also wants to do an action film like Angie. Aurora, thanks for the video.

Off the subject, I went to see “Obessed” this weekend with Beyonce and it was good. I could definitely see Angie playing the role that Beyonce played. My husband and I both enjoyed the movie.
Looking forward to seeing “Salt”.

This woman continues to inspire me! Sitting on the top of the truck cross-legged, casua lly talking to her stunt double, relaxing in between shoots with guys on the crew, laughing…etc…this is a woman comfortable in her own skin, confident in her abilities, and a person who is able to set people at ease around her. Not to mention be the mother of six kids, partner/wife to Brad, and all round kick-as s female action star and academy award winner humanitian!! Wow…just, wow.
Thank you Sherry for the latest photos of Angie filming Salt. Great photos! I do remember reading an article where Angie said her stunt double does the stunt first to make sure it’s safe before she tries it. That’s how she avoids getting seriously hurt filming action movies. And I believe the scene they’re shooting is where she throws herself over an overpass railing falls on top of the tanker truck and jumps from the tanker to the semi. That’s why they needed three overpasses. Can’t wait to see this movie!
Angie looks great as usual, but I can’t help but notice the guy (one of the crew members) in green shirt, in the last picture. Hawt….hehehe.
Should be an action packed movie, can’t wait.
oh! she’s looking great doing stunts. she really does her stunts, i remember her saying that if she could really do it, she would really do it.
she’s really brave for doing that kind of stunt and i really admire her.
just be carefull please.. we don’t want any accidents right? but i think the SALT team are ready in case that happen. ingat Miss Angie!

Angie seems to be having a fun time. I can believe it if she does most of her stunts herself, as she seems a very capable and responsible person. I think she pretty much knows when she can do a stunt and when she can’t. Thanks for the photos, Sherry.
