There are a lot of different looks for Angelina Jolie in the upcoming film Salt and Sony has released another still shot for us to see.
This particular scene strips away all of Angelina‘s usual beauty and shows us Evelyn A. Salt looking haggard and possibly in undercover mode. It’s been said that the character’s appearance will sometimes be almost unrecognizable and this is clearly a sample of that.
Definitely not my favorite look, but that’s all part of taking on a role like this. Does anyone remember when Charlize Theron played in the movie Monster? Charlize is up there in the “beautiful people” club for sure, but in that film she looked absolutely awful and incredibly ugly, something you wouldn’t even expect to be possible.
Angelina is so often defined by her jaw-dropping beautiful appearance that it’s nice to see such a change in this shot!
Let’s hope that Sony will continue to release more publicity shots, I love getting little sneak peeks at a movie long before it’s released!
In related news, Salt is indeed filming in Washington, D.C. right now – Christine sent me this link, maybe if you’re local you can check it out from afar! Meanwhile, it seems the whole family may be in D.C. because this site is claiming that Brad Pitt will be attending a meeting in Washington on Thursday.

Yep, no doubt about it, not her natural color eyes or teeth.Very intriguing. Reminds me of her earlier work too, which is not a bad thing. Also reminds me of Brad trying to change his looks for different roles over the years. Trying to ugly himself up. Not possible.
I think they dyed her eyebrows, she is wearing contacts to make her blue-green eyes brown and her teeth had something glued in it. Great disguise Angie. I could hardly wait to see this movie. Thanks Sherry.
I have a feeling SALT will have a ironic twist at the end, to add to the mystery. All I can say is Angie’s character’s husband may have something to do with the twist. We’ll find out for sure when the movie opens. I will see it. Not only will we see Angie play different characters, we’ll see her kick a * *.
anotherbix, I agree! Even when she first adopted Zahara, Angie didn’t seem to be followed as much as she is now. If you look back at photos from July 2005 through about the end of 2005, most of them appear to have been taken from across the street or at least from an acceptable distance, rather than right up in their faces.
I’m not sure, but I think it was when Angie was pregnant with Shi that the frenzy that follows them today first started. Naturally all the paps wanted to get shots of the belly, especially since that was pretty much the first definite confirmation of their being a couple.
Then of course there was the whole “triangle” thing, which made it even more intriging for the media, general public, and paps.
Oh, and in response to irma, if the kids aren’t with them, than I’m guessing they’re either with their nannies, friends, or their Uncle James. I don’t know why everyone always assume that Brad’s parents are always the ones to help them out!
Melanie, Angie HAS won an Oscar, for Girl, Interupted. Granted, I think that was for Best Supporting Actress rather than Best Actress, but at least she’s won an Oscar, unlike Brad who has never won one!
I’m guessing the whole family is in D.C., especially since the filming will apparently be taking a couple of weeks. I don’t think Angie could stand to be away from her family that long. Angie (and Brad for the meeting) COULD be communting in from Long Island, but that would be a pretty long commute!
If the whole family IS in D.C., then I think it would be cool if they take the older kids to some of the Smithsonian Musuems (in fact, Angie took Mad and Pax to the Air and Space Musuem around this time last year, shortly after she “announced” her pregnancy with Knox and Viv!).
I’ve visited most of the museums, and they are incredible! I think Maddox, and probably Pax as well, would especially like the Musuem of Natural History. It just seems to be the type of thing that boys their age would really enjoy!
I just hope that, if they DO take the kids to the musuems, the paps won’t follow them (both for the J-Ps sake and the sake of the other people visiting the musuems.)!
Amazing & talented actress, what more can I say about Angie.

Hee! I just realized that it probably sounded like I was saying Angelina looked ugly when I mentioned Charlize Theron in “Monster”. Angie certainly isn’t ugly here, but she’s not exactly her bombshell self either.
On the other hand, I would *love* to see them make her look flat-out unattractive for a change, just to see if they could do it!
I live in Baltimore which is near D.C. It is very cold here- colder than it has been a lot this winter! I’m sure Sherry is laughing because it is a lot colder in Canada than here I’m sure!
I actually don’t like the contacts. It took me until this picture to realize that’s what was “off” for me about her looks for the movie.
Yes you can see her beautiful eyes but they aren’t naturally brown at all they are contacts for her character. Can’t wait for the movie.

I actually think that they have put a lot of make up on her to make her look aged…maybe it’s just me..

Can’t wait to see the movie. Just for your info in Italy the release date for “Inglorius Bastards” with Brad is on 16 October 2009.
thanks sherry, the point is she’s suppose to look different,whats the point of looking like angelina jolie while you’re on the run,lol,also angie is wearing makeup in this still, she didn’t roll out of bed with blonde eyelashes and a gap tooth.
I remember Charlize in Monster, she looked nothing like herself. This looks like it will be a great movie. I am a big reader and I read a lot of FBI, CIA and secret agent books so this is my kind of movie. If the whole family is in DC this will be a good experience for Maddox. He is old enough to absorb all of the history there.
They also make her darker in complexion, the movie is interesting, can’t wait to see it next year. So the family are all in DC or maybe just Brad & her are in DC while the children stayed behind with Brad’s parents or some friends. I hope to see the kids again soon. How’s the weather in Wa. DC? Anyone from DC area, let us know.

Wow, I really like the dark contacts. It’s so subtle but with brown eyes she looks different, yet still absolutely gorgeous.
