The first video clip from Angelina Jolie’s upcoming movie Changeling has been released. This isn’t an actual trailer for the film, but it does show them moment when Angelina’s character, Christine Collins, comes to the train station to greet her son – and realizes that he is not her son at all.
Just that small clip of barely more than a minute is gut-wrenching. As a mother myself, I get the feeling that this movie is going to be gripping and moving.
Sadly, Changeling is based on a true story where a young woman’s son goes missing and is later found, and Christine Collins has to fight to get people to believe her when she says he’s not the right boy.
I can’t wait for the actual full trailer, and more importantly, I can not wait to see the movie! The movie will be released October 24 but for limited theaters. I’m not sure when the full release will be. Who else is eager to see Angelina Jolie in Changeling?

OK, there are a few things I quibble with, but overall, this is one woman’s appreciation of Angelina’s beauty and fashion sense:
Susannah Frankel: Ready To Wear
Independent Sun, 10 Aug 2008 4:21 PM PDT
Fashion issue of the week: where on earth did Angelina Jolie get “that nightie”? I love Angelina Jolie. Despite her best efforts to be humdrum, to fit in with us mere mortals, she positively radiates superstardom. She’s not averse to stepping out in a tent of a dress, pregnant or otherwise, and preferably a grey one, and still she upstages anyone else in their glittering finery on the red …

P.S. to my post under moderation: Not that my sons’ jobs make my opinion worth more than others.

Ligaya, you are to modest. Possibly your son’s interest in show business started when they saw how interested you were. Any way we all benefit by your knowledge. You comments make all of us have a better understanding. And some times your comments make me laugh out loud. Any way it is fun knowing you.

ligaya, I didn’t know that your sons were in the showbiz industry. This explains why you are so knowledgeable about the industry. Thanks a lot for your posts, they are very informative. Also, congratulations for your sons’ successful careers!

‘Changeling’ highlights N.Y. festival
By DADE HAYES
Clint Eastwood’s “Changeling” will make its North American preem as the centerpiece of the 46th New York Film Festival, the Film Society of Lincoln Center said Tuesday.
Fest runs Sept. 26-Oct. 12.
Universal’s “Changeling,” which drew plaudits in Cannes, stars Angelina Jolie as Christine Collins, a single mother in 1928 Los Angeles who embarks on a quest for justice when her 9-year-old son goes missing.
Unlike downtown’s comparative upstart Tribeca, the New York Film Festival remains a small-scaled, tastemaking affair featuring the cream of the international crop.

I took a look at the new girl that will play Lara Croft and I have to say..she does not do the character any justice. Lara Croft animated does not look as gorgeous but when Angelina gave life to the animation..she rocks it. Angelina would have been wonderful. I will not see this next movie because it would not be the same. YOu cant get into it when you know the last two was someone else. Its just not the same. Plus..Angelina does own the role..once shes done it..no one can fit that shoe. This new Lara Croft does not look tough and exotic enough. I have been wishing for another sequel but..nevermind since its going to be played by someone else. That truly sucks in my opinion.
