TMZ is reporting that Angelina Jolie was injured on the set of Salt and taken to hospital.
According to the report, Angie was doing one of her stunts and banged her head. It sounds like the injury was minor with a cut between her eyes and some bleeding; she is supposedly fine, so the trip to the hospital was probably just precautionary. After the horrible accident that resulted in Natasha Richardson‘s death earlier this year, I’m glad that they take things like banged heads so seriously, just in case.
I’ll keep you updated if any further details come out!
(For the sake of your blood pressure, try not to read the TMZ comments. It’s unbelievable the horrible things people can make themselves say about another human being courtesy of the anonymity of the Internet.)

Thanks for the information, Sherry. When I first read this story I thought that she was injured much seriously. But when I read the story on your site I sighed of relief. Minor accidents can happen to anyone and they are not lifethreatening. Thank God she only got a minor wound and a mild concusion. Still Brad must have been worried and not to mention the kids. Mad sure is used seeing his mum with little injuries but the younger ones sure were worried about their mummy. Great to see her back at work. WTG, Angie!
Millie- I agree that JA’s fans are often nasty towards Angie. However, I also don’t think it’s fair to assume that everyone who is an Angie h8ter is a JA fan, or, for that matter to assume that everyone who likes JA h8tes Angie (or vice versa). There ARE people out there who are fans of Brad, Angie, AND JA. Sherry is one of them (she’s very open about that fact), and I believe that Phoebe, a semi-regular here at PittWatch, is another one.
Lina- Obviously Angie is okay as she was back on set today. :) I actually think that NOT hearing a statement from the J-Ps about the accident is good news. It just doesn’t seem like they’d issue a statement unless it really WAS serious.

Angie is filming Salt Sunday. The Hello article is full of false statements like Brad is filming City of Z next. That hack writer didn’t speak to Brad or Angie I could have made up most of it from seeing pics and reading articles in other mags. That writer lied about an interview he did with Brad in 2007 at a hotel bar also. I ‘m really disappointed in Hello for using him.
hey, Angie won hottest femme fatale in the same award show too but she didn’t attend. i’m guessing she needs to rest after her minor injury and maybe she got tired from filming. i hope not seeing them together in this event (which i believe isn’t that much important) will not make us fans believe that there is something wrong with their relationship.
Angelina has a new tattoo!

Anyone wonder what this new tattoo is? I would love to know what it is.
There is always a good reason, when Brad leaves his family on his own, but I knew the trolls and tabs would have a field day with him being across country from the family. If he had not been there they would have called him disloyal to the Fight Club family. I think he was either already there or en route to LA when Angelina was hurt. If it had been a serious injury, I am pretty sure (I’d be sure, but I really don’t know him personally) that he would have quickly returned to NY. As for the claim that Angelina is heading with the children to France after she is done with Salt, and Brad is staying in LA, well I don’t know them personally, but I have heard what they have to say about their family life and I have seen their devotion toward each other, albeit in snippits, and I am confident that Brad will be back on the east coast shortly; he’ll likely go with the family to DC, and the whole family will head to LA later in June so he can work on Moneyball. I want to tell anyone who thinks otherwise to get over it!

And I have to say this: I AM GETTING SICK OF E-ONLINE BY THE SECOND! They always have something smart to say about Brad and Angie. And don’t get me started on the names they’ve called Angie esp. when comparing her with Jen.

I’m sure Angie is doing great as she has one big guy and six little children to love her and take care of her. However, I still wanna hear that she is OK and that it was just a minor injury. Hope to hear from the family soon.

Hmmm… I’m confused- there’s written on Just Jared that Spike TV’s 2009 “Guys Choice” awards were held yesterday, but on spike tv’s website there’s a banner “watch to see who wins June 21″. Almost a month between the show and it’s broadcast? o.O
Are there any videos from yesterday’s award show? I want to see (and hear) Brad receiving the awards so badly!
the best way to recover from an minor accident is to carry on as normal. angelina was even back at work after her small cut, so why should brad think angie is at death’s door? if brad was scheduled to appear at the spiketv awards in L.A, best to carry on with commitments and let angie get back to work and settle back into their plans. peace.

The 22-year-old said she looks up to the Changeling actress and revealed her tips when they met.
Lindsay said: “I am a huge fan of hers. When I met her, she couldn’t have been more understanding, or kind. She gave me tips about healthy eating and said I should always have a lot of protein bars at hand.”
She added: “And she told me: ‘Brush off all the problems and pressure. They’ll go away and you’ll wonder what you worried about in the first place.’”
Lindsay might also be taking acting tips from Angelina as she has signed up to appear in film Dare To Love Me, her first movie in two years.
She said: “Angelina’s a wonderful actress and a real inspiration. But it’s her bravery I admire most. She doesn’t apologise for the way she does things. She’s taken criticism for what she has said and what she has done.”
She added: “It all seems to bounce off her. She won an Oscar and survived two divorces. Angelina also has time to adopt children and works so hard for charity.”
She added: “She’s a shining example to every woman who has tried to do something different with her life.”
