TMZ is reporting that Angelina Jolie was injured on the set of Salt and taken to hospital.
According to the report, Angie was doing one of her stunts and banged her head. It sounds like the injury was minor with a cut between her eyes and some bleeding; she is supposedly fine, so the trip to the hospital was probably just precautionary. After the horrible accident that resulted in Natasha Richardson‘s death earlier this year, I’m glad that they take things like banged heads so seriously, just in case.
I’ll keep you updated if any further details come out!
(For the sake of your blood pressure, try not to read the TMZ comments. It’s unbelievable the horrible things people can make themselves say about another human being courtesy of the anonymity of the Internet.)

Oh, and as for Brad talking to a magazine about being in love with Angie…He actually HAS discussed his love for her to magazines before.
Tasha- HELLO does NOT make up stories! At least I would HOPE they don’t, as they’re basically the Candian/British equavilant of PEOPLE, which also doesn’t make up stories. I’m guessing that, if anything, they maybe embellished a little bit.
I think that, by “public life”, they just mean that Brad would prefer to go into town and take the kids to stores and such like us “normal” people do…But unfourtnately the paps just do not allow that to happen. To put it even simpler, I think they are saying that Brad is very extroverted, whereas Angie is more introverted.
Anyway…Sherry, you live in Canada, so obviously you probably know a thing or two about HELLO. Do they seem like the type of magazine to make up stories?
irma- That kind of surprises me. I would think that Brad would have wanted to stay by Angie’s side after her accident!

Thank you JM & Appetizing for the Radar online update on Angie’s accident. A concussion whether minor or serious is considered an injury to the brain. So I hope she gets the chance to rest and recuperate.
Hey I just finished reading the post. Good to see some of my jjb peeps here as well. Angelina has a birthday next week. I am not sure if the family will be able to spend the summer in France if they are planning on staying together. Brad begins filming Moneyball in June. I just hope they can have a couple of weeks together for a vaca. Thanks for posting the article from Hello. I went to the bookstore today and they did not have that issue out. The Barnes/Noble closest to me has closed or moved. Sad day, so I am in search of the mag. I don’t know how much is fact and how much is made up, but it is still nice to see a really lovely and postive article about them, so I guess when and if I find it, I’ll buy it too.

i hope angie stays on top of this injury. natasha richardson waited god bless her, i loved her work as an actress, she was absolutely beautiful also. angie is a strong woman and probably can take pain like its nothing but you have to pay attention to certain injuries.
Hey all! I’m aware there’s a problem with the comments where you get a 404 after clicking on submit (even though the comment does actually go through), so hopefully that will be resolved soon. I didn’t know about older comments doing the same though. I’ll pass that info along.
I don’t have access to the backend of the system that runs the blog (WP) so I have to wait for the tech people to take care of it for us. My blog wasn’t the only one that was changed (there’s a similar new look for my other 2 blogs on this network – http://britneygroupie.com and http://aguilerabuff.com ), it was a network-wide change for 70 blogs, so I’m sure they’re working hard to fix all the bugs. Hang in there, it shouldn’t be long! :)
Sherry, why does it say ” error #404″ when I click on the older comments?
Hello Pittwatchers! I am having trouble seeing all the comments and when I try to go to older comments it puts me back to the whole monthly comment section. Anyone having this problem too? I just looking at all the 55 comments and for some reason it just gives me the last 5 ones. Thanks!

Brad Pitt’s partner collided with a set light during filming, causing a cut and a minor concussion

“Angelina was…on the Long Island set today and was hit in the head by a light. She got a small cut in the middle of her forehead just above the eyes and was bleeding,” a source tells Radar.
“When she was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure, doctors treated the cut and determined she had a slight concussion.”
After doctors deemed it safe to go back to set, the source tells us “she spent the rest of the day doing blue screen work. They covered up the small cut she received with a wig and makeup.”
Jolie was a trooper, the source adds. Filming, which started in the morning, went as late as 11:15 p.m.
Production is expected to wrap as early as next week, after final scenes are shot in Washington, D.C.

007, there are more than a few friendly sites out there. I direct you to JustJared for one. True, it has its share of trolls and haters but many of the fans there are pretty feisty, smart and informed and take delight in exposing the failings of these foolish people. It is THE site for fans and many haters learn that to their whining displeasure. As for Pittwatch, I consider it a sanctuary from the war that I feel is being waged at the Jolie-Pitts. But I am comforted to know that there are many out there who wont let accusations, innuendo and slander go unchallenged.

About the hello magazine: “If it were up to him, (Brad) would live his life in a very public, very family-oriented way.” However, “(Angelina) prefers a different kind of world for her family, one that is much more secluded and private.” Now I know this story is made up. Brad wanting a Public family life. If Brad and Angie could never have the pap following the kids that would be heaven for them. Although most of this hello story sounds really nice I don’t believe they got this story from anyone, they just made it up. Really would brad talk to a magazine about being in love with angie. He didnt even want to talk to Ann Curry about it.
