Fresh from her quick visit to the Cannes Film Festival with Brad Pitt, on Saturday Angelina Jolie was back to work on the set of Salt, filming a scene with her black wig and trench coat.
Some of the scenes were set up for a police chase so it sounds like it was another exciting day on set!
I don’t know how she does it. Just thinking about flying from New York to the Netherlands to France and back to New York again exhausts me, and that’s not even factoring in the time differences and subsequent jet lag. I wonder how much coffee Angelina drinks on an average day!

I saw a clip of them on the red carpet on TV and slowed it down to look at it. She turns to look at Brad and he at her and the look they give each other is one that cannot be faked. It was sheer love.
Also, she gets more beautiful. She even looks good eating cake.
I’m sure Brad can always find a way to help her rest and relax!!!

mslewis- I agree with your entire post! If I’m remembering correctly, Brad’s next project is, in fact, Moneyball, which will begin filming in LA early next month. Angie will (again, if I’m remembering correctly) be wrapping up her filming on Salt around that same time, so it will be her turn to be at home with the kids.
If Lost City of Z really was going to film at the same time Angie is filming Salt, I doubt Brad would have agreed to do the movie. Remember, it’s basically a rule in their house that only one of them works at a time, and the family follows the parent who is working.
As for Angie going to Somalia…I agree with you there as well, Mslewis. Angie HAS gone to war-torn regions before, but I think she’s smart enough to know when it’s to dangerous even for her to go somewhere.
That said, it infuriates me that the tabs act like it’s only Angie that’s involved in their adoptions. I mean, yes, Angie adopted both Zee and Pax as a single parent (and Maddox as well, obviously, but that was long before Brad was in the picture at all), but Brad later adopted both Stateside, plus he was even with Angie when she picked up Zee (and didn’t go with her to pick up Pax only because his CCOBB filming schedule prevented it).
Also, Brad obviously was just as involved in the decision to adopt Pax as Angie was (with Zee, Angie was in the process of adopting her when they met, so in that case it WAS techincally Angie who made the initial decision to adopt).
Furthermore, I highly doubt that Angie and Brad would adopt knowing that Brad was going to be away working for several months at the time of the adoption (he was filming CCOBB when Pax was adopted, but that was close to wrapping at that point.). Brad would want to be able to spend time with the new addition. :)
Speaking of which…I think we can now definently say that Angie isn’t currently pregnant unless it just happened in the past few days, as she has a flat stomach in the first picture after the cut (leading me to believe that it was indeed the cut of the dress making her belly look bigger than it is).
Oh, and as for Angie looking “haggard”…In addition to everything other PittWatchers have said about the topic, we need to remember that Angie has six kids now, including a set of twins, and five of those kids are 5 years old and under! Plus, plain and simple, she’s almost 34 now. We can’t expect her to look the same as she did during her “wild child” era or even when she first adopted Maddox (just as Brad, who’s in his mid-40s, doesn’t look the same as he did in his 20s).
She’s still beautiful, of course! :)

Sherry, thanks for the pictures. Angie looks beautiful, you can tell that she is content & happy after Cannes. What a short trip with your loved one can do to a person. God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

Angie is a “superwowan” in disguise.. She has this magical powers that can make her look beautiful, sexy and very much happy even though she flew from NYC to Netherlands then to Cannes and back to NYC again! hah! she’s the only person i knew who could do that!

I don’t think she looks haggard. Plus I think this is her costume and she’s in makeup. However, I did think the after party pictures at Cannes were odd… she didn’t look like herself. Not the pictures on the red carpet, but the pictures at the party. She looked completely odd and sort of plastic, but then I figured they were probably taken with something like a cell phone camera and not reflective of her real appearance. I have looked at all the pics from Cannes, and I have to say, I love the dress more everytime I see it.
She continues to film the funeral scene.
isn’t news of the world (uk) a tabloid? yeah, pay no mind to it. plenty of others have seen how in love brad and angie are with each other. those “newspapers” know as much as much as we do about the jp’s private lives. nobody was really aware brad joined angie at her hotel (or something) to watch the pacquiao-hatton fight till the town’s mayor let it slip.
and i agree with everybody. if that’s what haggard looks like, then, i wish i looked like angie. or has the dictionary been revised? queen bee’s right, too. one has to consider that angie’s in character, so, if she looks tired, then, it could be attributed to the make-up and her character. nevertheless, she’s the most beautiful tired-looking person i’ve ever seen.

Haggard??? If Angie looks haggard in that pic I wish I looked that good!! She looks wonderful . . . happy and healthy. I think she must have a secret when it comes to flying from country to country. I’ve flown to Europe several times and it takes me a day of rest to carry on. Good for Angelina!!
To who ever say Brad will be in Brazil this summer . . . I don’t think that “Lost City of Z” movie is even ready to begin filming yet. They are still working on the script from what I’ve heard. Plus, I can’t imagine Brad being away from his family for four months. It has never happen before.
And there is no way Angelina will go to Somalia. It’s far too dangerous there at the moment since those pirate criminals are still angry at the U.S. for killing those three hijackers. I can imagine they would be absolutely thrilled at the chance to kidnap Angelina Jolie!!
I think that maggie must be a new ager of some sort and what she isn’t seeing in Ange any more is youth. Ange is over thirty years old and has had three biological kids and her ‘beautiful aura and energy’ has passed on to them now. Other than that, physically she is resplendent and in fantastic shape. We can all just dream about looking as good as that (whatever age we are).
Though I did think she looked ever so tired in Cannes and probably a bit jet lagged (and who wouldn’t!?) and looks a bit tired in these photos (but NOT worn out or haggard – jeez, how daft), like she could do with few hours extra sleep. But still ravishingly beautiful as we all saw.
I swear I don’t know how she does it all. And all those tiny kids as well. It must be something to do with being a Gemini. They’re all like ever ready bunnies. …
Sometimes when someone close to you dies, you make a point of trying to live for them as well as yourself. I had that happen to me. I vowed to not waste a moment because life is too precious and too short. Angelina is probably trying to live fully to honor her mother and the women on her mother’s side of the family whom she said had short lives. We can all take her example to be doers and not observers only.
