Angelina Jolie was seen leaving a UN building in New York City today. I’m not sure what she was up to today, but likely it was a continuation of the speaking engagement she was doing at the Clinton Global Initiative yesterday (photos to come).
She certainly looked fantastic in her white suit!

hi sherry, i cannot believe i am first. angie looks fantastic. i admire her and brad so very much for everything thay are trying to do. i was not able to listen to them yesterday at the CGI, but from all accounts they were both impressive.

I manged to watch Brad’s presentation. He really held their attention and got the loudest and longest applaud afterwards. Virgin boss donated money for the first house immediately.

I admire Angelina a great deal–and certainly she is lately doing a lot of good in the world–but is anyone else bothered by this posturing thing she’s started to do?
I hate to say it–but she seems to have become sort of…smug and prim.

thanks molly, i will do that. you know yesterday i got caught up in a ridiculous cyber confrontation with another poster, something i try hard not to do. and then i read all these wonderful accounts of angie’s and brad’s presentations yesterday, and realised that they are not paying attention to all these frivolous gossips and lies about their life together. their energy is put to better use, such as trying to help people the world over, and taking care of their family. those things are their priorities, not what some one writes about their personal lives, and that the tabloids insist on on lying about them week in and week out.
i know as fans we are tempted to jump to their defense, and i am sure i will continue to do so, but i will also stop and try to put things in perspective, and dont allow the detractors to rile me up, because at the end of the day, brad, angie and theirfour beautiful children are living their life together and living well. THAT is the best revenge. if we were all judged by what we had done in our miss-spent youth, the world would be a very sad and angry place. and can you imagine how despondent we would be if everyone was trying to define us by what we had done during those times, good or bad? and yet that is what they do over and over to this wonderful young woman. and what does she do? she shows them how a strong, courageous, independent and loving woman can survive and prosper in spite of.

Dianad, well said. So many of the people that post on this website remind me of some of my grandchildren friends,(average age is 7 to 9) they pick and pick and say stupid things that are hurtful and not true. I tell the girls if you act like it doesn’t bother you, it will take the fun out of it for them and they will probably stop. I can’t believe some of the things people are writing. Maybe they have no pasts, and have always been perfect.
Anyway the Jolie-Pitts are wonderful, hard working and caring people. And I am sure they try hard not to pay attention to the crap that is written about them. I am proud to be a fan of both of them, and some day we will see both of them win some big award for all the good things they are trying to accomplish.
i tell you honey, do not response to those haters its no their loss its gonna be yours. they think it is really funny to say bad things about people in general, but do not worry they will answer to the highest one up above one of this days. just love this two wonderful people and their family with all your heart.

I really admire both Brad and Angie for what they are doing to help those who are less fortunate. As for those who have nothing but hatred for this couple, I hope they will remember that we are all human, and therefore, sinners. They are not perfect, and so are the rest of us.
Posturing ? Lol, she is getting into the car someone asks for a photo so she stops smiles and lets people take her picture. Meh. The over the shoulder thing is not new to her or many women. Dammit we all want bloody good pictures taken of us rofl. I say thank god for the digital era. I look through my shots and hit delete delete delete lol.
So many haters are bashing Brad & Ange inspite of all the positive things they are doing, they can’t pleased everybody but I’m glad I am one of their fans & so proud of them. The haters are all blind if they don’t see what these couple have accomplished in the short period of time & still continue to do so. Have seen her speech Yesterday, it was very moving specially the story about these boy & the old man. I was in tears.
We are looking at a woman who’s been in front of cameras professionally nearly her entire life I’ve seldom seen an awkward shot of her. Luckily for her she’s found a mission, a love, has children etc. AND is interested in making the world a better place. That alone is inspiring, and what we ALL can do one WORD at a time!!!! MORE POWER TO HER AND BRAD FOR ALL THEY ARE DOING TO CHANGE THE HW prototype.

Lately the fanistonista’s tactic is to start off with something good about the Jolie-Pitts immediately followed with an attack and aspersion. At least they learned that straight-on frontal attacks won’t work here. Now they have to learn they’re just burning up time with more oblique critiques.
“Posturing?” Try looking under “Paris” with her new Rwanda initiative. She’s very shallow & oblivious (as Brad said), but even she might learn something. Who knows? Maybe she’ll follow in Angelina’s footsteps.
molly i checked justjared for the video of angie from yesterday, but am unable to see it because the computer at work is not allowing me to. i do not have a computer at home, so unless it is uploaded on youtube, i am out of luck. hopefully someone does that soon.

well, what can i add? sheis fabulous, even more so since she and brad became lovers,partners and soul mates. they give each other the strength and encouragement to soar and to excell. and thank the stars and God they did meet and formed such a dynamic team

Thank you Sherry for posting Angie’s natural pose and not the red carpet pose. I just want to say these that we love Angie and Brad the way they are including their imperfections but we love their big hearts most of all. The little things like the way they hold their kids, the way they sit, stand, smile, look serious become trivial when it comes to understanding their compassion and their passion for the causes that matter. Anyway, if you are a person who cannot go beyond a person’s appearance, I think it is very sad because nobody in this world is perfect. Tattoos, scars, etc. are part of a persons uniqueness. Lainey is quivering over Brad’s gait and how he wears his pants. She described it once as slightly bow-legged but wow the way he walks, melts her. At the Esquire interview for Babel, the writer described Brad as angular but not severe. On another interview, the writer said he is a beautiful man and looked younger in person than in pictures. So you see, beauty is really in the eye of the beholder. In Brad’s and Angie’s case, there are millions and billions all over the world who are the beholders, not only with their appearance but their passion. Anyway, ITA dianad1968. Goodnight JP fans. By the way, no need to apologize. Like you, I have the least inclination to engage in those kind of “chats”. But there are times when those snide remarks, underhanded compliments, veiled comments are just too much. Never mind the endless nitpickings!
Although, I would say this. When we get into these “chats”, we do convert a lot of neutral lurkers worldwide. They can discern how petty these detractors are and how baseless their accusations.
I for one was galvanized to be even more pro B & A due to these widespread smear campaigns. Obviously, I’m not the only one that’s been affected this way. Their popularity is just skyrocketing. Mudslinging definitely didn’t work. People are way more intelligent than these trolls give them credit for. Their negativity backfired.
