Unfortunately, my early mornings are too busy for sitting and watching television so I didn’t get a chance to see the interview between Angelina Jolie and Ann Curry today. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to see it on Dateline tonight though.
In the meantime, here is a snippet of it courtesy of MSNBC. Sadly, I can’t embed it directly here, so after you’ve watched it I hope you’ll remember to come back here and discuss your thoughts on it!

Good morning Sherry!!
I was able to watch the first half of the interview, I think the 2nd one will air tomorrow… it was a good one..

She is a great lady. What a role model for others.

Does anyone else think that Ann Curry person is awful? I could hardly finish watching the interview because of her.
Angelina looked beautiful though, it was great seeing an interview with her! Hope she picks a different interviewer next time!

So much great stuff and in June Maire Claire. Can’t wait.

I am soooooo disapointed – I really thought “The Today Show” interview was good. But the “Dateline” interview(s) was crap. Too much Ann Curry narration, too little interviewing. I don’t mean conversation, I mean interviewing. Very little questions, very little answers – lots of feel goody stuff (by Ann Curry) very little substance.
I would love to see the un-edited interview.

It was a good interview. Angie disclosed a lot of info because she felt comfortable talking to AC. I don’t think it was a touch feely interview.

Come on–Angie is a goddess, was there a doubt the interview would be great? Does anyone know where Angie got those shoes?

thank you so much lac for that link to the reader’s digest interview-audio! that was wonderful to listen to….it’s one thing to read it, another thing to hear her say those things.
I enjoyed the Dateline piece, though Id have to agree that Ann Curry does like to dwell on the feel good stuff

Many of them had their families in tow — a reminder of how much their lives have changed since “Ocean’s Eleven.” Brad Pitt and his partner, Angelina Jolie, have four young children, and Matt Damon’s wife gave birth to a daughter last June.
Damon: “Brad has had it tough. He’s …”
Clooney: “Hobbled with children …”
Damon: “And that wife …”
Clooney: “That horrible, ugly wife.”
Damon: “I mean, to go home to her every day …”
Clooney: “What do you do?”
Damon: “Well, you have your work. That’s about it. You can take refuge there.”

yeah Sophie I saw that on Access Hollywood. I kinda think they don’t know what else to call Angie. I doubt they got married without anyone finding out. Angie gives a great short interview to Billy Bush. She sounded like the old Angie. I sometimes fear she will lose her spirit, she has gone through so much, but that interview sounded like her. I thought it was better than the dateline interview.

Jasmine, I too don’t really think they got married, but I did think the back and forth was hilarious! I agree, on the spur of the moment, the term “wife” si what you’d use.
still very funny…and shows how much they all know each other and like each other
