I was flooded with at least 25 emails about this and I didn’t write about it because so far there are no reputable American sources (such as People, for example), but let’s talk about it because speculating is fun sometimes!
According to an Italian newspaper, Angelina Jolie is pregnant with her second biological child, and her fifth child overall. This rumor came about because she cancelled a lecture she was supposed to give via United Nations at the Pio Manzu center near Rimini in Italy. The official reason on record was “due to personal reasons” but according to the newspaper she actually had to cancel because of discovering she is pregnant.
A spokeswoman for the Pio Manzu center, Letizia Manjani, played coy by responding with, “Angelina cancelled last week. Due to her privacy I can’t confirm her pregnancy, but I can say that the Italian newspapers are correct in their reports.” Which, you know, is basically her confirming it.
I don’t know if it’s true or not. Although it makes sense to have an Italian newspaper announcing it because the event Angelina was to attend is in that country, it seems odd to me that not one single official source in the United States has confirmed it yet. Then again, maybe Brad Pitt and Angelina aren’t talking yet. I know a lot of people prefer to not announce a pregnancy until the second trimester just because of the lowered risk of a miscarriage by that point, so maybe that’s why it’s still being kept quiet. Or maybe Angelina had some other unrelated reason for having to cancel the lecture and someone decided it must be due to pregnancy and she’s not pregnant at all.
We won’t know until it’s officially confirmed, but we do know that they wanted more children, we do know that Angelina’s filming duties are slowly wrapping up for the near future, and it would be perfect timing to take some maternity time.

No problema, Mary Ann – so easy to slip when we’re tired (and in my case, old too).
I’m so happy that everyone on this board agrees that family is family, children are children – no matter biological or chosen. I know at least 40 people – family & friends – who’ve adopted (U.S., international, babies & older). In a few cases, there’s been conflict between adopted children not feeling they’re really part of the family with their biological siblings. It can be tragic. I think this theme has been a subject in literature, movies & soap operas too.

I was hoping to see new news from Brad & Ange, they are killing us for waiting till Monday on the red carpet. Lucky for me, I am off from work on Monday, I can lurk every hour & check Sherry’s site & JJ for the latest news about the Jolie-Pitt’s & at night my husband & I are planning to watch the American Gangster, on Nov. 16, I plan to see Beowulf.
Well, I need some clarification, I just watch Ocean Twelve on dvd tonight, to tell you the truth I was not even a fan of Brad before, I didn’t even know that Zeta Jones was in that movie, anyway, when did Brad filmed Ocean Twelve ? Was it the same year as Mr. & Mrs. smith? Please help me with this, just confused. Ever since Brad & Ange became a couple, I became hooked to this two lovely couple, I really like them together. Anyone who has information about the dates on when Ocean Twelve & MMS filmed let me know? Thanks.

but we don’t know what she meant by the mags werent wrong. Did she mean they werent wrong about pregnancy, or werent wrong that she canceled?
Very confusing..I wish someone would interview that woman again and make her explain herself.
Why would Angie announce it so early on that she isnt even showing? And if she did announce it, why are her reps not confirming?
I hope she is pregnant but.. im not convinced yet.

I dont think that she is preg,i love to see another jolie-pitt,but i think it’s a little bit early,you know they have 3kid under 5,and mad is 6,it’s hard to take care of them and spend time with each of them,they will be really busy.i think they should wait a bit more…

i wonder if the little jolie-pitts (and big ones too) had halloween costumes, and what they were. they must have been so cute if they trick-or-treated last night.
I just hope that it is pregnancy and not another illness.

When was she ill before? I don’t remember her being ill, just grieving for her mother.
LADY T, Angie also lost a bit of weight early in her pregnancy with Shiloh.
Angie recently said that they hardly get enough time to spend with all the kids individually, let alone each other – so I’m really hoping that there isn’t any truth to this.

I don’t recall her saying this. What I have heard her say a few times is that they make sure to spend time with each child, and so far it is working out.
Brad said recently they were ready for another.
Regardless, I will not judge their decisions. I have 4 children under 8 and my family always had some criticism whenever I announced my pregnancies.
I learned to ignore them. My husband and I are very happy with our choices and our family.
Hi to everyone, I stand corrected when I said “another of their own”. Usually I would not have made a statement like that, but some days my old brain slows down and I couldn’t think of the word biological. The old fingers were just typing away without the brain. I know that Brad and Angie think of all of their children the same. She made big thing of that after Shiloh was born.
Angie may be prone to morning sickness this time. Every pregnancy is different. So she may have lost the weight she gained recently because of that. She has been looking pukey but mostly radiant and content…
G, Brad & Ange have plenty of help raising their kids, I raised 3 children by myself, working at the same time & living overseas while my husband was away most of the time on his tour of duty but I did it & very proud of it. I’m sure, if it’s really true that Ange is pregnant that’s really a happy time for them, you know how Brad wants a big family & Ange too. They will have a soccer team. LOL. For now, everyone is guessing.
Some of Ange’s latest pictures she looks a bit tired but still beautiful. Let the tabloids run their antennae, maybe they will gather some truth about Ange’s rumor pregnancy. Hope, the kids had a nice trick or treating last night. My g-sons did, their daddy went with them in our subd. they really enjoyed going house to house getting candies, they will not eat the candies but the experience will last a lifetime. God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.
personal reasons…. I hope it is not any health issue. :( Angie looks thin these days, and could it be caused by having any health issues?
