It's a relief, but I wasn't biting my nails because no one - UNHCR, Gen. Petraeus, Prime Minister (?) Maliki, and the Iraqi migration officials - would have let Angelina step into a hot, dangerous situation. There was a time she when she went to visit Darfur but then had to go to Chad instead because the situation was too hot. She was fine last time she visited Iraq & Syria last August. So I felt confident she'd be fine this time around too. Angie is too smart, she's not careless; she has responsibilities as a mother, and as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador. It'll be broadcast live on Independent Film Channel and an edited version later (AMC? A&E?). It's always the Saturday before the Oscars.
