I had thought that maybe Angelina Jolie was alone in New York City if she was just there for a quick assignment. However, she isn’t – because today Angelina was seen with Zahara and Shiloh, doing a bit of shopping at one of their favorite NYC stores, Lee’s Art Shop in the Midtown area.
I think that every time the family has ever been in New York for any length of time, they always hit up that store at least once. They must sell some fun stuff for the kids.
How adorable are these two big girls?! I can’t believe how much they’re growing and they both look so cute. Shiloh is looking more like Brad Pitt every time I see her and Zahara still has her no-nonsense attitude, I love it!
I wonder if it’s just Angelina and the big girls in the city. That would be a nice Mom and daughters getaway for them – Vivienne can join them too when she gets a little bit older!

soozie, I’m curious, why do you think Shiloh would attracted more hatred if she were seen with Brad (not trying to attack you, just geniunely curious!)? In anycase, I doubt Shi not being seen with Brad very much is delibrite. Angie and Brad have made it clear that they don’t care what the tabs think of them, and I’d assume that extends to the h8ters among the general public as well.
That said, I completely agree with you! I don’t know why Shi gets attacked so much, either. I do have one theory, though. I think a lot of those h8ters are still very sore about the whole “triangle” business and see Angie as the reason Brad left JA.
Therefore, I think the fact that Angie has biological kids with Brad bothers them. I think they feel that JA should be the one who had Brad’s babies, and that Angie ripped that chance away from her.
So, unfourtnately, they take their h8tred of Angie and the fact that she’s the one who had Brad’s babies out on sweet, innocennt little Shiloh. In fact, that poor little girl has been attacked since before she was even born! Some h8ters actually said that they hoped she would be a miscarriage, or be born handicapped.
Also, unfourtnately, Vivienne seems to be getting some of that h8tred now as well (thus far, I think Knox has been spared). When the pictures of the family at the airport in Japan came out, some people were, according to other pittwatchers who read the comments at JJ and other sites, claiming that Viv looks like she has Down Syndrome, just because of her bemused, “What the heck are all these strange men doing taking my picture?” experssion in the photos!
Shi also had that expression as a baby….and many of the h8ters claimed that she was Autistic.
All of that said, it’s not just Shi and Viv who get picked on. Sweet little Zee Zee has had downright vicious racial remarks thrown at her. People also used to complain that she always looks unhappy or angry….until a few months ago when both Brad and Angie spoke of how Zee Zee is scared of the paps.
What saddens me the most is that someday Zee, Shi, and Viv are going to grow up and be able to read those awful comments about them.

If you watch the video at X17, it looks like Lee’s Art shop called the paps in advance. Because the camera pans to the sign several times in the video and it seems like blatant advertising. That would mean Angelina also calles the shop in advance, to let them know they are coming.
I don’t know, it all seems strange But if they just got in the car and drove there without telling anyone,there is no chance there would be so many paps just waiting around at that store.

I guess Shiloh (being the first biological child) represents the definite end of Brad/Jen and the definite confirmation of Brad/Angelina so perhaps Brad avoids being photographed with her to spare some of the vile… I don’t know just a thought, I also wondered if perhaps he tries to give a little more to Maddox, Pax and Zahara so they understand completely that there is no difference between biological and adopted children… who knows I am merely speculating. But I 100% believe that Brad and Angelina love their six children equally. Though the press had a field day with saying that Angelina hated Shiloh. Sad, as that poor little girl might read that some day… and as the mother of two I totally get how you could refer to a newborn as a blob, they really do nothing and unlike first time moms, Angelina had two children who came to her when they were slightly older and had started being little people…. I think its sad that everything she has said about Shiloh gets twisted and turned into something so mean and nasty.
But I strongly believe that attacking a two and a half year old and saying things from she is slow to fat to ugly to a b***ard is lower than low and these people should remember that she’s someone’s baby and that they love her.

isacutie, thank you! You just said EXACTLY what I was trying to say…only you explained it much better than I did. I also totally agree with you about your view on the three of them being at the Oscars together.
Oh, and Soozie, I forgot to mention yesterday that I strongly suggest you DO stop reading the comments on those other sites. I used to read the comments on X17 and Just Jared and I finally had to stop because they’re so vicious. Also, as tempting as it is, whatever you do, DON’T respond to the h8ters! That’s EXACTLY what they want. The best thing is to just ignore them…they h8te that!

Oh, and in regards to what isacutie said about most people not being able to just erase someone you really loved from your life: Brad basically said just that in his W Interview. He said that they were a big part of each other’s lives, and married for five years, and that’s not just something you can erase or ignore.

Firstly, Sherry I want to say I think you do such a great job here. Thank you. I check the site often but this is my first comment – which I feel compelled to make — i watched the video on the other site and I was also shocked that there was so many photographers there already and that the children were led through the gauntlet like that. It must have been pre-arranged. I would just like to hear what you guys think about this —
perhaps i overestimate the harm this kind of attention can do to children. Maybe its all good? But if not, why would Angelina put her children in that situation? I love her. I just can’t understand this.

Zara- My view is that Angie and Brad are determind to give their kids as “normal” a life as possible by taking them to kid-friendly stores, the park, the movies, etc…and they aren’t going to let the paps stop them.
If it WAS pre-arranged, I think that, as another poster said, it was the store who did the pre-arranging.
Soozie, I agree again! I also don’t understand why people call Shiloh “fat”. Yes, she still has somewhat chubby cheeks, but some people keep their “baby faces” well into adulthood!

Truly sad that people would say a toddler is fat. Thank GOODNESS she’s got lots of baby fat! It means she’s healthy. It seems the Jolie-Pitts realize this. Again, thank goodness.
