Here’s the video footage of Jack Black spilling the beans about Angelina Jolie having twins. Although I’m sure Brad and Angie wish that it had still been kept quiet, she really seemed to keep it all in stride, laughing at his faux pas. The look on his face when he realizes that he said something he shouldn’t have said is really priceless – it reminds me of Hagrid in the first Harry Potter movie, constantly saying, “I shouldn’t have said that!”
If you watch the video, there’s also plenty of discussion with Angelina and Jack about the movie Kung Fu Panda which will be premiering today at Cannes (to be released in theaters June 6th).
Angelina also mentions that Maddox, Pax, and Zahara loved the movie (Shiloh wouldn’t sit long enough to watch it) and that her kids are big Jack Black fans and that he’s the big movie star in their home.
After the interview, the video goes on to mention that Dustin Hoffman let it slip that Angelina Jolie’s due date is August 19th. Of course babies have their own timetable plans and twins can sometimes come earlier, but basically we can expect a pair of arrivals sometime in the month of August!

Oh my Jack’s face is priceless when he gives it all away. I would love to see the clip of Dustin spilling the beans. Can’t wait to see this movie, my son is so excited for the summer blockbusters coming out he actually has a list of the movie and their release dates. I will take him to see most of them but I am also looking forward to a mommy-daddy date to see Wanted.
It’s great to finally have a due date and something to pin our excitement towards. I don’t think Shiloh’s release date was ever released so this is something of a novelty (a welcome one of course). With the adopted children, we never knew about Angelina and Brad’s plans until they actually arrived in their arms.
Come to think of it, they’re remarkably good at keeping their privacy when they want to… After all, no one knew that they had even filed to adopt Pax until Angelina left to pick him up in March 2007, and the paperwork was initiated at least a year in advance if memory serves me correctly. That’s quite a feat in Hollywood these days. It’s lovely that Angie took it all in good humor even when Jack accidentally spilled the beans and could laugh about it. Imagine our shock if she had kept the secret all the way up to the birth!
Does anyone know if the August 19th is her actual due date, or adjusted date? I’m unsure on this but thought it was customary for multiple births to happen marginally earlier than singletons? With triplets, doctors consider it a successful pregnancy if the babies reach 34 weeks gestation, but I’m not sure about twins.
Pardon me, I meant to say Shiloh’s due date, not ‘release date’, LOL. Silly me. It’s very late, I should be off to bed now.
She is huge I can’t imagine what she will look like in a couple of months. It is amazing to me that she has not put weight on anywhere else. Can’t believe we have to wait until August!
Yay! The 19th of August is my birthday!
That would be pretty cool if I had the same birthday as Brad and Angie’s twins. It would also be on the same day as Bill Clintons birthday and also my dad. lol.

I’m so happy for them! They’re such great parents, and they definitely make beautiful babies… Shi is gorgeous! Now, the next questions on everyone’s mind will be, “A boy and a girl… 2 boys… 2 girls….Did they have them in vitro, or naturally…” God Bless them, but I wonder when they’ll stop! That’s a LOT to handle!
I read somewhere that Dustin Hoffman and Angelina were actually joking about the due date. I think her due date is actually in a few weeks.
Hi Becca, that’s what I was saying too, sharing a birthday with the twins would be cool. But I’ve read some said that since she’s going to have twins, she may give birth earlier. I really think Angie is so cute in the videos, laughing and laughing.
I am very happy for them and Angelina indeed does look glowing. I had laugh a lot when you think about it, they will never tell another co-star a secret. Dustin revealed the date and Jack revealed the number lol. I bet Angelina is madly going through her head to remember who she told the gender so they too do not spill the last thing they can keep private.
When there are twins in there, there is nearly twice the weight, if all goes well. Still, she looks nine months pregnant now, and it is hard to imagine her going three more months. Let’s all pray Angelina can hold on until she is at least 34 weeks (a full term pregnancy is about 40 weeks)for the sake of the babies. The babies can be viable as early as 24 weeks (for singletons), but it means months of intensive care and numerous risks like cerebral palsy, lung maladies, gastrointesinal difficulties, etc. She does seem relatively comfortable now which is a good sign. She is hopefully a little past 24 weeks already.

I agree with Rease I think that is not the actual due date, there would no way a costar would reveal something so personal especially the way the press hounds them. With Shiloh’s birth they practically rented Namibia, so I doubt they would allow the public to know the due date. I think she is bound to give birth in the next few weeks, she looks much more than 6 months pregnant, and twins do not carry full term they are born before nine months.
