I know everyone is always curious about what celebrities are wearing, who designed their clothes, and whatnot. On Sunday for the SAG Awards, Angelina Jolie wore a dress that was on the unusual side compared to what she normally wears to big red carpet events. The dress is vintage Hermes, and her shoes were by (no surprise here) Christian Louboutin. The earrings were by Jaipur, and what’s really awesome is that apparently her cuff style bracelet was custom ordered by Brad Pitt based on a drawing that Maddox Jolie-Pitt drew. I *love* that, now I wish I could see a good close-up of it.
I’m going to be honest in that, compared to other dresses Angelina has worn I didn’t really love the dress. It’s not one of my favorites, but I don’t think it’s a bad dress either. It’s definitely a change and of course it has fueled the flames of the ongoing pregnancy rumors. While she’s not a super-skin-tight girl anymore, she does usually wear something more form-fitting than this dress, so it certainly raises eyebrows.
And there’s no doubt she is glowing and radiant. How many women wish they could look this flawless with such simple makeup?

Oh well, why don’t we all just cheer on this family and hope the best for them all. For me, I’m glad to have a fan site like this where I can read others’ comments, etc, and at the same time post my comments every now and then. I may not always agree with what others have to say, by the same token, others don’t always agree with what I have to say, but it’s good to have this site for an exchange. Peace!
To Boogaloobaby, Let me say that we are just fans who truly love this couple and what they stand for. The last time I was this interested in a hollywood couple was about twenty years ago namely Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner.
Brad and Angelina are a dynamite couple and they truly love each other. I love the fact that he no longer is shy about showing his Love and affection for her in public. Angie brought out the best in Brad, and he tamed her somewhat.
It took Brad a while to show his affection in public for Angie, and I think its out of respect for Jennifer Aniston because he did not want to rub it in her face. Shows what a classy guy he is. I hope she is pregnant, and if with twins… God Bless them both. If you want to think that I am obsessed so be it.. I do love them and they tots…Peace Boogaloobaby!!

I’m back from work & here I am checking again but not obsessed just to make me smile & relax, that’s my therapy after 8 hours at work, I really need a break when I get home , visiting Ange & Brad’s sites is a great stress outlet. Obsessed is too strong a word. I would say fans are interested and have great admiration in the Jolie Pitt’s. Most of us at this site are parents or grandparents. So we have lives. The pictures of the Sag awards were wonderful, really put a huge smile on my face. It was such a relief after last weeks tragic news about Heath Ledger.(still feel bad about it) God bless Angie and Brad for the good they do. They bring a lot of joy to the world. There is a lot of bad news around, so if a little joy can be had vicariously by anticipating a baby that this couple wants there is no harm done. Everyone loves lovers, we are inspired by their love.
Hi, Mary Ann. Photoshop is a program used to manipulate/edit pictures. It is also used for illustration and to create artistic, computer generated artworks. The program is so popular that it has become a verb, too, a term used to describe how images may have been manipulated with the use of Photoshop.
I won’t be too harsh with boogaloobaby because usually, her comments are quite nice. I just think her last 2 posts could have been less histrionical. I was also going to make a run down of what I do with the vast majority of my time, just to illustrate to boogaloobaby that hearing and talking about Brad and Angie are just one/among of the things that intrigue me. Right now, my biggest is reading Agatha Christie’s Ms. Marple series, and of course, there is always graphic design. But then, it makes very little difference to have to explain or give an answer to a virtual stranger about what I do with my time or my life. What I or any of us do with our own time is our own choosing. How we choose to spend our time is not imposing on anybody else here or on the JP’s, right? So, if we come on here just to comment on Angie’s outfits or a possible pregnancy, what precisely is the harm? At least the remarks are mostly positive. The comments may annoy one or a few people, but I guess that is okay, too. To feel annoyed would be their own choosing. We can’t be responsible for how they feel, and so, we don’t have to justify ourselves much, especially because we don’t really know each other–it would be presumptuous to conclude that based on a few of our regular postings on this site that many of us here are devoid of any life. Angie does not know us, but that’s precisely it. As isacutie pointed out, none of the fans on here are bothering her with our views. Noone is trying to be a part of her life. Everyone on here is just having a good time, sharing our views with people who also like the JPs. The postings on here, much like pictures, are only a very, very minute measure of our actual lives. So, in a way, boogaloobaby’s questions are not really fair. I mean, good for you that you aren’t as “obsessed,” but good for us, too, for just trying to be positive and at the same time, not enforcing our views and standards on others.

this couple is more in love each day, it is very nice to see, they are glowing. but do not like the dress it looks like a tent or shower curtains, it does not do nothing for her.
to boogaloobaby, question, what are you doing coming to this site if you are not interested in the Jolie-Pitts? We are not trying to live our lives through the JP’s we just admire them. We are very busy people who stop in here during the day to relax and see what is happening with them. We do not plan our day around this site, it is a pleasant place to go when we are free for a few minutes. Some times I read comments on other sites and the people are so into bad mouthing everyone and everything that it is sickening. This is a pleasant site, that Sherry works real hard at keeping that way. Also, we do discuss other issues beside the jP’s. They JP’s are caring people, and so are the regulars at this site. Ligaya, where are you? Hope you are well, we miss you.
Gwen Stefani is pregnant for sure right now and when angelina was pregnant with shiloh gwen was pregnant with kingston. It seems like they are on the same pattern! i think thats so cute, i wonder if they planned that?
Earth Goddess is absolutely perfect! Love it. It’s also charming that their hair seems to always match shades.
The poster with the snarky comment about being obsessed reminds me of someone at the homeless shelter where I volunteer. Yes, most of us here, if not all, have happy, normal lives outside of B&A and some of us actually contribute to the community, both local and global. Imagine that! Anyway, this ‘lovely’ person has a tendency to always let everyone know how little she thinks of anyone she feels doesn’t live up to her standards of social enlightenment, political correctness, religious righteousness, etc. So much of her energy is spent on assuming these things that one can clearly see thru her insecurities and constant need for validation from her presumption that she is better than everyone else. IMO, happy, secure people tend to keep quite about their accomplishments and are just generally accepting and well…happy! I’m contradicting myself with this rant but couldn’t help it. (BTW, this said person is another volunteer, kind of odd really).

Bravo! Brilliant! So lovely that was clarified for the rest of us, lol. Yes, there are fans who are more obssesed than others and some who might benefit from a good dose of reality. But most just share a common admiration for these two and appreciate being able to chat with others of like minds every now and then. Outside of that we go on our merry way and do other things — like working with a commitee that certifies the LEED designation for a future eco library and delivering meals to homebound seniors, oh and raising an eco conscious and socialy aware son. Imagine that from a fan who also admires the sublte shadings in AJ’s vintage Hermes gown!
My point is–assuming is usually like announcing to the world that you’re not a happy camper despite any level of worldly “enlightenment” and making a point of separating yourself from the rest of the pack when one clearly follows, even if “occasionally” reeks of a cheap thrill that’s really bad for the arteries, lol.
BTW, the cuff bracelet is brilliant. Did I say I love the dress already?! Cheers :)

Toooo cute :) it seems like there is also a little animal on it beside mom and dad, maybe a cat or dog. It does not look like Mrr Penguin ;)… its a totaly sweet idea to make a bracelett out of a kids drawing. Would like to do that later too…
Sherry – know the feeling! When we’ve got nights like the awards ceremony, it can really drain you! The reason, I think, that it looks like we’ve been working all day on the information, is because we have great sources and have honed in on where to go to get the good info.

boogaloobaby – I suppose that’s a fair question. Why do we care? Everyone’s answer will be different. For me, it’s not because I’m fanatical about them – I’m just really excited by births. Any births. My daughter’s teacher had to go on leave because she’s pregnant and I’m just as excited about that as I would be about Angelina being pregnant, because I just love hearing about someone’s pregnancy, birth story, babies, all of it.
As for Brad and Angelina, I’m a longtime fan and admirer, and I am interested in a variety of aspects of their lives. I’m not just interested in their movies or the humanitarian work, I like hearing about all sorts of things.
I think, really, the only thing that really irks me is when people ask why we don’t have lives of our own. There are 24 hours in a day. The other night, with the awards, there were a great deal of photos, so I spent more time on this site than normal, but I was lucky that it all happened after my kids were in bed. I don’t actually spend the entire day here. I *do* work, so I regularly see comments coming in when I’m checking my mail, so I can tend to things quickly if needed, which may give the impression that I’m constantly here “obsessing” about this couple.
In reality, I am working, I am playing with my kids, I am doing school work with my daughter, I am cooking meals, I am doing housework, I am constantly using my camera and learning more about photography, I am spending time with my family, I am seeing friends, I am reading books, I am watching TV, I am sleeping… In other words, in the grand scheme of things, my Brad and Angelina time is only a tiny portion of my overall everyday life. And I’d say that we can likely assume that 99% of the people here on this site, excited though they may be about Jolie-Pitt sightings or possible pregnancy, are the same – fans who get excited over different things, but who still have very full and busy lives outside of this.
