Anna Maria Perez de Tagle Crushes on Frankie Jonas

Anna Maria Perez de Tagle chatted with MediaBlvd about her role on Camp Rock and starring with the Jonas Brothers!

Anna Maria says that she plays the girly-girl of the main girl clique, Ella. “She’s obsessed with her lip gloss. Most of all, she talks about her lip gloss 24/7. She’s obsessed with her hair and makeup and everything, but she’s kind of a ditz, and she’s not the smartest girl out of the group. But her character changes completely towards the end of the movie.”

When asked about the Jonas Brothers, Anna Maria can’t say enough good things! “They are definitely the most down to Earth guys I’ve ever met. They’re amazing and they’re very humble. And they are professional, just like you’d imagine. I have to say they are definitely not bad to look at everyday!”

So which one is her fave crush? “Well, I can’t really choose. I always say Frankie Jonas, they call him the bonus Jonas. He’s the youngest one and I think he’s eight years old. He’s just a sweetie-pie. He’s so cute, and I actually just came back from the Disney Channel Games. He comes up to me, and is like, ‘Can I get your number?’ It was cute, a sweet guy.” Too cute!!

Anna Maria says she does worry about getting sterotyped into the ditzy, mean girl. “The fans come up to me and they think I’m really mean. They come up to me and ask, ‘Are you really that mean to Miley? Why are you that mean to Miley?’ I love my fans and I’m always like, ‘Oh, it’s just acting and what you see on TV is really, really acting because Miley and I are good friends. I love playing the mean girl though. It’s a lot of fun.”
