Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson last night attended a party held at the Vip Room Theater in Paris. While there, an anti-fur activist doused Lindsay with a bag of flour. The activist shouted “Lindsay Lohan – fur hag!” while doing it. Lindsay has been seen out wearing fur coats again in past days, which has angered activists (as noted on PETA’s blog).

PETA Europe’s Robbie LeBlanc says of the incident:
“There is nothing remotely ‘fashionable’ about the torture and death of animals killed for fur. Lindsay Lohan might be able to ignore images of bloody animals skinned alive for their pelts, but we hope a dash of flour will help her rise to the occasion and forsake fur once and for all.”

PETA is a bunch of veggie nuts!
I just love the outfit, but she’s so thin now, what’s going on?
If I were to assume the best, I would say PETA is an organization that really wants to do good insofar as the ethical treatment of animals, but has no idea what “doing good” is nor how to achieve it. Hence they just do any random thing that comes to mind. Things that make the general population think they are crazy, stupid, hypocritical, and very, very dangerous. And this is PETA in the best possible light.
This means that at best the organization is led by and filled with very dumb people, and possibly a few who should be under psychiatric care. The sort who should be locked up because they are a danger to themselves and others.
You’re right Green, that is completely inhumane. All in the name of fashion? 5 boys get questioned by police for kicking around a kitten at a train station, yet these mf*ckers are paid god knows how much for toturing live animals for no good reason? I would never wear fur, only faux fur at the most, and personally don’t even find it an attractive look.
PETA need to take more of an educational approach towards this whole matter. Supply us with the knowledge we need to make positive choices. Committing acts of hatred and spite (and possibly jealousy…..) to defend a good cause is a tad ironic. They can do plenty to raise their profile- but they need to be smart about it.
Having barely naked celebs pictured with the slogan “I’d rather go naked then wear fur” doesn’t exactly help either. It’s a thoughtless, empty campaign. Most of these celebrities are so skanky that they don’t really wear clothes anyway. PETA have based all their ideals around sex and hatred, and for that, they are too stupid for words.
can i just say, im in no way affiliated with PETA but i think that they get pissed not just because its fur (i mean we’ve been hunting animals and using all parts of their bodies since the dawn of time) but its they way they obtain the fur. They don’t just shoot the animals and slice the fur off because it ruins the pelts. They grab the creature by the tail (or bottom, extremity w/e) and they yank and pull very hard, ripping the skin right off while the creature is still ALIVE and wriggling around in agony. Its barbaric, and if people like fur then so be it but to pretend like an a-ok normal human action its not. for example, its one thing to have an abortion but its another to grab a baby and stab it. I say that because the way in which these pelts are obtained is excruciating for the animals. Oh, and they don’t kill them afterwards, they let them writhe around until they die…all for fur.
thats the reason, i think, why PETA is so militant.
and seeing the videos and hearing the stories, i can understand why…its just not right and all for just their fur?
i shudder at the thought of someone or something grabbing me by the scalp, tearing it off and discarding me.

First off the PETA person, was obviously a deluded soul, second it was a GIRL, not a guy, look closer at the vid, French Girl with boy-haircut, that silly 80’s retro look, and thirdly ALL peta activists are frauds. We the Human Race, as a whole; use Animal Parts, in many many ways, Artifical fabrics are NOT all completely ” Artifical ” unless they are made of synthetic non petrolium based products, even PAPER garments, come from vegetable fibre, have in them elements of the animal kingdom, in the form of the oils they are treated with, and the plastic rosins they are water-proofed with. and sorry but we eat COW here in America, as well as Pig, Lamb, Deer, ( I personally don’t lIkE the taste of ‘ Venison ‘ but some find it delectable ) And other animals, frogs, snakes chickens foul of one sort or another, you might as well throw flour on people who are wearing Feathers in their clothing, ( currently again very ‘chic’ in parts of Europe ) Or anyone wearing Shoes, leather of course, like my Reboks ! How about people carrying Snake Skin wallets…..No the PETA people have simply ‘ Chosen ‘ fur, as their symbol of rebellion, and as such it has no real validity at all. Liars and Frauds, shame on you.

Oh, man. PETA is a — heh– pet peeve of mine because, well, they are here and rational thought and reality are way, way, way over here, if you follow me.
Their goal is total animal liberation, whatever the heck that means. But I do know that if you own a pet, they consider you a slave owner. no, really. They think I’m a slave owner and my cats are slaves. they think Samantha is a slave owner because she owns a dog. And this is probably the least heinous thing about PETA. They also fund the kind of ecco-terrorists who will make bombs out of household chemicals… and teach these schools to school children.
This is why PETA gets nothing but my contempt.
I don’t care who you are or if your protesting fur but if you throw flour on my clothes while I’m dressed up I will knock your ass out. I wished Lindsay or Samantha would have drop kicked that crazy girl. She has no right to do what she did.

I have just seen your website and you recent blog celebratiing and giving glorification of the fact that someone attacked Miss Lindsay Lohan while she attended a club in Paris. Im deeply distressed in the hurtful way your blog is worded and written and the fact that someone involved in your organisation openly condones these kind of attacks people.
I think you should remove the blog , i think as an organisation that could be making a difference to what your fighting for you make yourselves just look like haters and the fact you glory thiis mindless persons actions can encourgae others to possible do even something more dangerous.
Im very mad and upset with your blog and organisation for condoning this behavior , and whilst i understand and completley disagree with cruelty towards animals i would ask you that you do the right thing and remove this blog and publicly go on record no not condone this sort of behavior.

This is just awfull.Lindsay is in a fragile state,she tries to stabilize her life after a drug addiction that was very public.To stabilize her working life,and her personal life.She also has an heavy asthma problem from when she was born.You dont throw powder to someone who has such problem.And then these press and these losers will ask why she goes back to drugs?I dont care,even if she is videoed f 10 people and taking heroine.I will excuse her everything after this and all the crap she has been attacked for all these months.No one cant stand this.
