For the first time in <em.America's Next Top Model history, the international destination won’t be a gigantic secret. Instead, Tyra confirmed the rumors herself on Twitter.
She wrote:
Rumors are true & U R 1st to know. Top Model is goin to NEW ZEALAND for cycle 14! Can’t wait to get there. Are y’all excited for next cycle?
I can’t figure out why Tyra would admit this. Are there enough spoilers floating around that she didn’t have a choice? Or is revealing the destination this early an attempt to keep viewers interested?
New Zealand Tourism was excited to confirm the trip. “We have been working with them for some months. We certainly have given them advice on locations and helped them with contacts, including designers,” Tourism New Zealand spokeswoman Cas Carter told the New Zealand Herald.
New Zealand’s Next Top Model was decent enough television. It should give you some insight to what designers will be appearing on the show. Maybe Sara Tetro will make an appearance! Nigel showed up when the NZNTM girls flew to Los Angeles for their international trip.

Yeah, it was a pretty bad secret really. It hadn’t been confirmed is true but it had been posted on a few of the forums as early as the first week of November.

It’s true! The girls are here now! It is pouring down in Auckland, Miss J and Jay Manuel are here, no sign of Tyra as yet but there have been sitings of the girls being filmed around Auckland today.

I saw the top four today in MIssion Bay, Auckland. They are very tall, and security was pretty tight!

Filming wrapped last night with the final runway show being held at the National War Time Museum in Auckland. Apparently the models families were flown in as a suprise. The theme of the final show had something to do with the circus as there were performers there.
