It looks like the third season of Canada’s Next Top Model is finally underway! They are accepting applications for the next cycle, which is scheduled to air in summer 2009.
The deadline for applications is December 22, 2008. To be eligible, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who is at least 5’8″ tall. Taping will be approximately 5 weeks long and will take place in winter 2009.

I think that the height requirement should be lowered also, if they did a season for short girls on America’s Next Top Model then Canada should as well :)

I know this article is already like 2 years old, but im now 15 and looking at ways to be Canada’s next top model, i know im not exactly old enough to try yet, and even if i was im too short, but i think you should bring the height requirement down a bit, there are so many gorgeous girls out there willing to give you everything you’re looking for, only they’re just short of the height needed. I know quite a few of my friends who think so too :) ~Shay 5’6

I agree heather on the working hard but of course taking a chance on a show would be such a great opportunity……You girls all the tall and the short models, work your buts off show people what you’ve got and you’ll get where you want to be! Everyone should start believing in all.
AND lingerie and shoe designers often use petite models. Do some research if you want to be a model .
If you want to be a model then be one – tv shows have nothing to do with your career. What happened to working hard and being talented?
If you win this and your short you wont book as much because everyone else is tall. Being tall is a condition of modelling just as being a certain weight/ bone structure is.
I don’t think your being ingnored at all, there is just no information out about next cycle yet. As you can see, lots of people are wondering about applications just like you.

I think everyone should just stop arguing about a 5’7 season, honestly you guys have to think about it antm is in what the 14th cycle and cntm is going on its 4th so antm has been out way longer. dont get me wrong though im tall and i would love for them to do a 5’7 and under cycle to give those other girls a chance, Or they should just mix the girls with the tall ones and 5’7 and under, but the only reason i dont think they will do that is cause willamina models is like one of the only agencies to have a contract with shorter girls. but either way your guys should stop arguing cause they will give everyone a chance, some of us might just have to wait a little longer then others : ) But good luck everyone : ) your all beautiful!

You know what, these people are totally discriminating against all those girls who are between 5’7″ and 5’8″.

heyy yea you can still model with strech marks, Talia in ANTM was a burn survivour and she made irt really far : ) strech marks are no biggie everyone has them, big or small short or tal every girl gets them at some point
I can’t find any information on cycle 4 ANYWHERE… not even on the official CNTM site! but hopefully if we cant find the info, no one can so we will all still be able to sign up when it surfaces haha
