April Wilkner on Royal Pains

April Wilkner, who competed on Cycle 2 of America’s Next Top Model made a brief appearance in the pilot of USA’s new show Royal Pains. Royal Pains is about Hank, an emergency room doctor who has lost everything. After his friend sneaks him into a deluxe party in the Hamptons, he sort-of-accidently becomes a doctor for the rich and famous in the area.

April plays one of the party guests, a beautiful gold-digging socialite who mistakes Hank for a wealthy entrepeneur. She;s only in the show for a few seconds, but has a few lines. Here scene is in the video below.

April looks fantastic! I really liked April, even though she made for pretty boring reality television. Her career since then has involved co-hosting a show in Miami and landing bit parts in television series. I always imagined bigger things for her, but it’s great she’s pulling in a steady paycheck.
