Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have arrived on the red carpet for the SAG Awards!
Brad is wearing a dark suit without a tie and an open-collar white shirt. Meanwhile, Angelina is wearing another loose, draping dress in royal blue.
I’ll be adding more photos of Brad and Angelina at the SAG Awards as they become available. Angie’s hair appears to be pulled back into some sort of a loose, low bun and her makeup is pretty stellar again. Overall though, I’m mostly digging Brad’s casual dressy look, even though he still seems to be hanging onto that darn mustache – maybe there’s a chance he’ll still have a few scenes to re-shoot for Inglourious Basterds?

Angelina’s dress (which, according to reader Julia, is Max Azria) is quickly growing on me now that I am able to see more of it. I absolutely love the color!

(what else is there to say ??). err . . . . doesn’t Brad’s moustache look a tad thinner (and wider)? Anyway, it lookes ‘better’ to me (Sherry- a good point you made as to why he’s ‘hanging-on’ to it, maybe). And, I wonder whether Angie likes to give ‘other’ designers a chance to ‘dress’ her (I have no idea if this dress is by a designer she’s not worn on the carpet before). It’s a lovely colour, and altho she does “non-colours” best, you can’t ‘blame’ her for wanting to go-different just now and again. I cant beleive tCCoBB wont win any awards, after all, apart from brad’s brilliant acting it’s a film that crosses new frontiers in filming, surely?? As some of you have said already, maybe there are some ‘private biases’ out-there !!! Whatever, we must grin & bear-it, eh! and enjoy having another opportunity to see our dazzling-duo once again (and I sooo want to see the children again soooon – you know how much kids grow / change in a short space of time- can you imagine how exciting it’s gonna be !!!!).
You could be right dedorah. Juilanne was really too much last night. And Brad did say Angelina is so much more than a beautiful face.
I don’t know, it just puts me off, as a fan to see them be so distant.
Brad did look absolutely fabulous and refreshed, so great to see them.
OMG!!!! angie is sooooooo beautiful! for me, it’s the beautifullest dress she wore since the green one in cannes! she is tooooo gorgeous!

Angela- I was not offended. No worries. I also did not mean to diminish the talent of Angelina and Brad. I think they have talent in spades, but I do think the talent is diminished by all the hoopla, so that they are not taken as seriously as they should be. It was a good year for movies, so being nominated is at least a nod to their talent, and someday they will have the awards too.
i read on justjared.buzznet that they are flying to Japan, do you know why?

Both of them look amazing. I love the colour of Angie’s dress and the back of the dress. Her hair and make up are beautiful. I also love the pic where Brad looked at Angie with pride and love. It is just so sweet.
Agreed with Stellabellaroma that Brad looked fabulous & refreshed. For Angie love the color, her hair & make up. I believe she always go for simplicity & comfort when choosing her dress. Anyway what matter are they look happy & in love…… luv the pic where Brad was standing at the side and looking at Angie posing.
I was so right about the colour (although I would have liked to see it a bit deeper and darker in shade) totally made her eyes pop. Loved the back of the dress, didn’t like the front. I understand about comfort but an empire waist style would be just as comfortable and have a lot more style. Loved her hair and makeup. Brad looked great as well.
I totally agree with some posters that they need to look like they are having more fun when they get their pics taken. I know it is hard to look good for every pic and I know they don’t like having to sell their films by going to award shows and doing interviews. but this is their job, and you should always give your all no matter what job you have.
Looking forward to the Oscars. I also think we should enjoy these red carpet events because I bet they will take a year off from them. But I have noticed that with them doing all the red carpets you don’t is as many family pics around.
Didn’t want to take over our TV last night and didn’t think that Brad and Angie would go to the SAG’s, but when my hubby went to bed I thought I would just check in and see what was happening and LOL there was Brad coming out with Taraji to present an award. I was so thankful that I got to see him and Angie. My feelings about the way Angie is dressing now, is that she might be thinking that she is now a Mom of six and she is tuning it down a bit. She always makes the best dressed lists and I think she always looks beautiful. I feel blessed that were both nominated this year, because remember last year when they both had great movies out and they were passed over completely. I agree with a lot of you who say TCCBB will probably get technical awards. Its a shame, but I am still so proud to be a fan of theirs.
My personal fashion taste aside, I’ll say that Angie doesn’t try so hard w/ her style on the RC that she comes off desperate or like she needs to prove something, unlike let’s say, well, Teri Hatcher. (I do not mean to have a jab at Teri. I don’t dislike her, but, that’s just how she appears to me.) So, I agree with Anne’s post on the previous thread … Angie “s a woman who is so sure of herself and very beautiful.”

They both looked beautiful. I would like to say that I loved that Angie’s accessories were simple but elegant. Her make up also impress me, subtle but classy. I’m glad she choose to do this. Other celebrities wear thousands of dollars around their necks, ears and wrists. With our financial crisis our country is facing, people losing jobs, homes and savings, I loved they decided against flashy jewelry.
Love to see the beautiful cople again. They both look soooo good! The blue dress really suits Angie. She should wear something similar to Oscars in a few weeks. Brad looks very handsome as ever but he should finally get rid of that darn mustache! That photo in which Brad looks at Angie from afar is really beautiful. His eyes are so full of love for her. So that is a living proof that still after four years they´re truly, deeply, madly in love with one another. Hope they have a great time in Japan and hopefully visit Cambodia or Vietnam so that either Mad or Pax can visit his home country. God bless this family!

I think Angie went for comfort more than just sexxy. Although I do think this IS sexxy with the open back as well as the way Bradley is looking at her in some pics.
The fact that she is trying signature hair do’s is great. We are not always going to like it but it sure is interesting and ALWAYS gives us something to discuss.
I am a definite Brad and Angie fan but I think she is overthinking the “mom” thing to the point of looking like an Amish beauty or a Mormon modest Jane and nothing is wrong with that… the beauty of being a mom is finding the knack to blossom into fitting style, if Angie is directing her stylists away from glam because she is a mom I find that to be sad. their are classically dressed celebs that look appropriate at all times and some that are trashy but come on Angie put some mom style in your Tomb Raider or your Mr and Mrs Smith in your mom of six style… pump it up for the fun magical nights, all of the Pittwatch supporters will come to your rescue no matter how you present yourself. to add to the comments of the economy, go ahead and dress up it takes tha mind off of some of the situations that we all are going through especially when you are in hollywood, if you were in Gaza or Afganistan oh yes tone it down girly but on a red carpet give it up and remember … you are an ACTOR so smile and wave and remember we want to see some fantasy in your dress and get ready for the BS of when the former Mrs Pitt shows up she’s acting all the way so do your thing like you always do sign autographs and make people feel like a part of the parade. Try some different designers Angie please
I wanted them to win SO bad. They are SO deserving. But, I really believe there are “some” who are still upset that they’re EVEN together and will always blame Angie for the split of whats her name.
The real stars in “Slumdog M” are the children. It is ashame that they were not invited to attend. They are the main characters in the movie and they were great. The actors at the the award shows are not the stars.
Lee, slow down there-Amish! Sorry must disagree whole heartedly. Amish, that would be black and white and one style. Mormons, while not as non-script, wear white under garments. And while it may not have been her most dazzling gown, it was no way boring, nor was she falling out and ajusting herself her 5 minutes. The vanity of some actress! Nor would it have anything to do with being a “mom”. She does not strike me as being anything less than what she is. They may not be on point at all times for everyone, but they are no way less than stunning in whatever they choose to wear. I like the fact that they follow their own light. And what a amazingly bright light.
I hope CCBB win the award even if it is for the technical effects. I agree there are some people that still dislike how Brad and Angie got together and that must be why they did not win any award. I use to like Kate Winslett, but after she publicly forgets Angie’s name at the Golden
Globe and later the comments about how Angie lets their kids stay up late, it puts me off her movies. I still cannot see how Slumdog M wins the award. Not my kind of movie. Luv the way Brad leaning on the rope post and beaming with love and pride while Angie is posing by herself. Getting to luv the Moustache and luv the casual relaxed look.

Just wacthed TV Guide’s SAG fashion post show and they had Angie’s stylist, Jennifer Rade, on and that Max Azria dress is on BACKWARDS because Angie thought it would be better. Phew, explains that strange fit and cut a bit..
ace, while I don’t like hearing that Kate commented on Angie letting the kids stay up late (I haven’t, however, watched any videos from any of this year’s award shows, so I haven’t actually heard Kate’s comments myself. Therefore, I’m reserving judgement.), it sounds like her forgetting Angie’s name was just an honest mistake.
Let’s face it, we all make faux pas like that from time to time! Granted, it’s not usually in front of the media, but still, things like that DO happen, even in public! Trust me, I’ve heard of worse public faux pas (and I’m NOT talking about any celebs, I assure you! I’m actually referring to people I know!)!
joliepittfanatic – I couldn’t agree more, I don’t think it was meant to be hurtful, I think Kate was just overwhelmed. You could tell that she never even dreamed that she would win. Everyone thought Anne Hathaway would win it, especially after the slip-up on the official site that accidentally listed her as the winner before the awards even happened. She had prepared a speech in case she won supporting actress, but she was blind-sided.
When you’re super emotional, it’s easy to stumble over yourself.
