Yesterday, president-elect, Barack Obama, and the current American leader, President George W Bush, along with their wives, Michelle and Laura, visited the White House for their first meeting since the historic election. It was Obama’s first visit to the Oval office and it’s the first time this type of meeting has taken place so early after a new president was chosen.
While the men talked about leading the nation, Laura showed Michelle around the living quarters. They must be allowed to redecorate, right? Those rooms were really ugly to me (watch the video):
I’m glad that things seemed to have gone well with the visit. I am looking forward to seeing how things change once the Obamas move to Washington!
