Are Ashlee and Pete having marital troubles?

The always reliable, National Enquirer is reporting that Ashlee and Pete are having marriage troubles… again.

According to their source, the couple has “come to blows” over whether or not to add another addition to their brood.  While Ashlee is open to having more children, she does not want to right now.  After all, she did just have Bronx in November. But Pete reportedly has babies on the brain and wants to give Bronx a little brother or sister as soon as possible.

“He wants a big family,” the source went on to say, “and he’s adamant that the children be close in age.”  However, whenever Pete brings up this issue Ashlee apparently groans, “We just had one!”

The National Enquirer goes on to say that Ashlee wants to focus on her career and is worried about jeopardizing her television gig on Melrose Place by becoming pregnant again.

That probably wouldn’t be the most believable storyline for her wide-eyed innocent character, Violet.  Actually, on second thought…
