Emily Browning and Arielle Kebbel in “The Uninvited”
Arielle Kebbel (Lindsay Lister then Forester) stars in the upcoming horror flick The Uninvited. The movie is a remake of the 2003 South Korean horror film A Tale of Two Sisters.
The movie tells the story of Anna Rydell (Emily Browning), a girl returning home to her father (David Strathairn) and sister Alex (Arielle Kebbel) after spending time in the hospital. She had suffered greatly on a mental / emotional level after the death of her mother and, upon coming home, is set back further when she discovers her father is engaged to her mother’s former nurse, Rachel (Elizabeth Banks).
Anna and Alex suspect that Rachel is hiding a big secret, that she’s a murderer, and try to tell their father to suspect his new fiancée, but that just starts a war between the girls and their soon-to-be stepmother. Of course, it doesn’t help that Anna can see ghosts.
“The Uninvited” Trailer:
The film is directed by The Guard Brothers from a screenplay by Craig Rosenberg and Doug Miro & Carlo Bernard. The producers are Walter F. Parkes, Laurie MacDonald and Roy Lee. The executive producers are Michael Grillo, Doug Davison, Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock.
