Emporio Armani’s sales have increased from £1.16billion in 2006 to £1.26billion in 2007. Because of this, Armani’s profit margins have increased 15%.
Experts are citing David Beckham’s sexy ad campaign as the reason for the increase in sales.
This isn’t the first time that people have cited the Beckham Effect for an increase in revnue. A few months ago, Selridge noted their sales in briefs went up after David’s ad campaign was unveiled.
