This just in from the AJC: a man named Frederick Richardson has been arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter in the death of AJ Jewell, Real Housewives of Atlanta Kandi Burruss’s former fiancee. Richardson also suffered serious injury during his fight with AJ and is currently in the hospital, but will be sent to jail once he is recovered.
More details are emerging about what happened, AJ apparently worked at the club, called “Body Tap.” Kandi mentioned in an interview with Essence that AJ had purchased a strip club, so this may be it. However, no one knows why the fight happened.
This has been the second death Kandi has been dealing with this week; her uncle also passed away and she mentioned having to attend the funeral today.

omg that poor girl! Was this the current man in her life, or a past fiancee? Hope she’s OK.
I haven’t commented much on Kandi but that girl is FULL of talent. She sings, she acts, she’s down to earth and isn’t delusional like so many others we might name….I hope she gets the BIG career she deserves.

So sad to hear this tragic news. Prayers to Kandi and the family and friends of AJ. Kandi seems so sincere, and has such a good heart. I pray she can stay strong throughout this ordeal.

I am very sorry for this tragedy that has taken place in Ms. Burress life. They are referring to AJ as ‘former fiance’ but I know that even if this is so…Khandi Gurl is irregardless…in pain. After all…she was to marry this man at one time.

We cant even start to think how you and the family are feeling im a devoted fan, Loosing someone so close is very hard but god has a way of helping us through the toughest trials,stay strong for your daughter and his children …………BLESS
