Ashlee Simpson not only loves big sis Jessica, but she is in awe of her.

Us Magazine caught up with Ashlee on Monday at the CBS, CW, CBS Television Studios & Showtime TCA party in Pasadena, Calif. where she dished about her love for her sister.
“I dont think I’ve known anyone as strong as her. My sister is amazing. I spend so much time with her.”
I personally think it’s important for siblings to maintain strong and healthy relationships. Especially in a town like Hollywood, which is filled with backstabbers and spotlight seekers, it’s good to see that the Simpson girls have not lost sight of what’s important: family.
And Ashlee continued to dish about her family, especially its newest addition, her son Bronx. She shared with Us the joys of motherhood and how balancing work and motherhood has come naturally to her.
“It’s been good so far,” she said. “For me, I wanted to do something that’s a bit more stable, and it’s been that, which has been perfect. And we get to travel. We’ve been to Paris, Japan, everywhere with my son. And he’s so happy and healthy. I’m very fortunate he’s on a good schedule.”
And speaking of work, she shared some thoughts on her Melrose character, Violet, too.
“She’s interesting. I think she’s creepy,” she told Us when asked to describe her character, Violet. “I think that she’s unaccepted and wants to be loved.”
This is a far cry from the “innocent, straight-off-the-bus” character, that Ashlee described earlier this month. Sounds like she has some pretty scandalous story lines!
Can’t wait!
