Ashlee Simpson at Talk Back Tuesday

We reported awhile ago that Ashlee Simpson-Wentz would be participating in Broadway’s Talk Back Tuesdays on January 19. Turns out she dished out quite a few nuggets of information!

When asked about life after the stage, she responded that she would be focusing on her maternal duties:

“I plan to take a little break after this. I’m going to take a break in the meantime and figure out what I’m going to do.”

However, she did spill about her musical goals for the future:

“But I will be making another record. In that time, you’ve got to make some music.”

She also discussed her role, and how it’s been a lifelong dream of hers:

“As a child I grew up dancing. I danced on tour with my sister, so growing up I was a dancer and my dream was to be on Broadway. And my first play I actually saw was Les Miserables. That was amazing as well and made me feel right about that I want to be on Broadway. It’s amazing to be on it and in New York City. It’s a dream.”

Les Mis is my favorite musical! Great to hear that Ash had so much fun on the stage. Perhaps we will be seeing more of her on it in the future!

Do you have a favorite musical? Let me know!
