Well, I believe this more than some of the other things he says. :) I didn’t say I didn’t believe EVERYTHING he said…. ;) Besides, if for whatever reason Ashlee was worried (which I don’t think she has anything above the normal mommy concerns), I don’t think Pete would tell the media. I guess in some ways I think Pete is cool for not telling the media everything. I mean they do have the right to their privacy. I think it’s just irritating when he lies to the public because we want to know about our favorite celebs, and the paps want something for a story (but they can usually create those without the help of the celeb). But really, they are just trying to keep their personal life PERSONAL. :D But when someone flat out denies something only to have the truth come out later, even if not directly from the person themselves, it makes them look bad.

well MK if you don’t believe what pete said then theres nothing I can say…because you are entitled to your opinion… but I have a feeling he was telling the truth and that is my opinion

I believe Ashlee is not becoming any more obsessive than a mother does when she is pregnant. That being said, I also tend not to believe anything Pete says since he rarely tells the truth in interviews. Which I am guessing makes Papa Joe pretty happy. :) So it keeps the public guessing about his girls.

iwouldn’t believe this for one second.2 days ago on enews the y had an interview with pete and they asked him if she was concerned about the photos of her while she was pregnant being unflattering. he said that she understood that it was time that you didn’t realy have to worry and that she wasn’t concernedabout her weight gain. didn’t they also say the same thing about nicole richie? this is rubbish i’m pretty sure about it

Today I read on a blog that I went to the doctor and he said I was overweight and I cried and went to Planet Blue (because I was blue) and bought 6 pair of size 0 jeans. Now it is ridiculous to read such nonsense about oneself so I thought I would address this one…
1. My doctor says I am right on target with my weight gain
2. Have not been to Planet Blue in at least two years
3. Love my maternity jeans ..they have stretchy tops it is awesome!
4. My closet full of size 0’s are being worn by Pete right now and he looks hot in them :)
So now that I have cleared that up let me tell you…carrying a child is the most inspiring, emotional, amazing experience of my life. My weight and my pant size are the absolute last thing I am concerned about. I am only concerned with having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. People who talk and judge pregnant women’s weight need to get a life!!!

MK: haha, yeah I think Ashlee seems pretty grounded too.

The one thing both those Simpson girls have is the ability to bounce back from things. So I doubt Ashlee is freaking out as much as some sites say. I think she’s probably looking at her body like…. what… how…. like most pregnant ladies.

I don’t believe it for a moment. She also has a response in her blog on myspace. If you look up her name in the music section you can find her blog. Everyone gains weight when they are pregnant, and when it comes to Hollywood, if you gain one pound, you suddenly are labled fat. Ashlee is gorgeous, and she has had more controversial things happen to her than this. She is probably not anymore worried than the next mom. She is such a grounded person, I don’t see her as freaking out like this. Now Jessica on the other hand…
