Who knows what to believe when it comes to Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz. After all, they both denied she was pregnant and now they admit they lied. I don’t blame them, I’m just saying when you’re a celeb, it must be hard to live a normal life without getting hounded. You might want to shout out something ridiculous just to get the paps off your back.
Case in point is this video from over the weekend, where Ashlee and Pete are trying to go to a movie and are followed the entire way. The photogs are shouting about their baby, and Ashlee turns around and informs them (nicely) that they ARE NOT having twins. Then Pete chimes in, saying they’re having six babies instead.
Dontcha love his sense of humor? Anyways, here’s the clip. Judge for yourself, do you think they’re serious here or just playing?

Wow. Ashlee looks so mad, and she has every reason to be. I would seriously hate to be hounded by the paparazzi day in and day out. But she has become even more popular now since she got married and pregnant. I wonder how Jessica feels now? But I am guessing she at least has the release of her country single to focus on. Although I don’t think she’s going to take over the spotlight from Ashlee just yet.
I think Pete is just the cutest husband! Ashlee is a very lucky lady. I’m not surprised that a twin rumor has started. For some reason I believe Ashlee when she says they are not having twins. But I also sense her frustration. I have a feeling she didn’t think she would be hounded this much after getting pregnant. I mean, when you become a star you expect to be stalked by the paps, but now….she’s probably way overwhelmed. Poor gal.

Yeah, just think about all the times you just want to head to the store or whatever, and you’re not feeling like dealing with someone in your face and filming you.
I know Ashlee and Pete are celebrities, but still it’s gotta be hard. Their every move gets caught on camera.
I do love how Pete just takes Ashlee’s hand and always manages to make a smart remark back to the paps! He’s too funny.
