Happy New Year! And a special happy New Year to our favorite celeb sisters, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson.
It turns out celebrities make New Years’ Resolutions just like us regular folk. According to Us Magazine, Ashlee made this resolution:
“All my focus is on my son [Bronx Mowgli]. Every day being a better mom and learning with him. It’s an incredible experience.”
2009 had its up and downs for the Simpson sisters. Jess and Tony Romo broke up, but she found new love with Billy Corgan. She was in the media one too many many times for stupid stuff, from mom jeans to the scandal with Tiger Woods, but she still managed to be at the top of her game in terms of business. Ash’s year was much the same; she celebrated her one-year marriage anniversary with Pete amongst rumors of trouble in their union and their son Bronx Mowgli turned one year old as well. Ash was cast in the remake of Melrose Place, but was unceremoniously let go, only to find greener pastures on the Broadway stage in the hit show Chicago.
It is safe to say that, despite the downs, the Simpson sisters had some great ups this year!
