Ashley & Mary-Kate Olsen's Hollywood Star Vandalized

The star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame belonging to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen was vandalized today. Someone wrote “FUR HAGS!” over their star, according to KeyeTV.

MK and Ashley were awarded their star in 2004 for their work on Full House and the subsequent Dualstar empire they built around direct-to-video movies, music and more.

Movie star Sharon Stone’s star was also vandalized, with “OLD FUR HAG!” scrawled across it.

Mary-Kate and Ashley often receive public heckling and protest for their frequent fur-wearing. They seem unfazed by PETA’s continous efforts and have yet to stop wearing fur. However, I doubt this vandalization was dne by PETA–it seems far to amateur.

The Walk of Fame is maintained by the Historic Trust and they will be responsible for the clean-up of the vandalized stars. The first star was awarded in 1960 to Joanne Woodward and since then, over 2,000 have been installed, making the walk over 3.5 miles long.

Oh, that sucks. On a side note, they both look drop dead gorgeous in that picture. I wish MK would return to that look. Her new one doesn’t suit her IMHO.
