Ashley Tisdale chatted with Access Hollywood about how hard it was on the last day of filming HSM3. “We went into the last day thinking, ‘It’ll all be fine ‘cause we’re all really good friends and we’re so close,’” Ashley said to Billy Bush. “It wasn’t even the last scene — we couldn’t even get through it. We were crying and just so emotional over the whole thing.”
“We’re so attached to each other,” Tisdale explained “We’ve had such fun doing these movies…. It’s like working with your best friends all the time. It’s definitely something that’s tough to leave and say goodbye to.”
Ashley also reaffirmed that they are moving on and won’t be doing HSM4.
“I heard they’re going to do a ‘High School Musical 4,’ but we have nothing to do with it,” she said. “I think we’re all doing other projects and moving on.”

High School Musical 4 will not be the same without Sharpay, Ryan, Troy or Gabriella! They should end it with High School Musical 3 while it’s on a high, rather than do what Grease did when they changed the cast for Grease 2 and many of my friends will be like, “There’s a Grease 2? Wow. Didn’t know that”
And I really enjoy HSM and I don’t think they should make a HSM4 if the original cast aren’t in it.
Plus, I’d be crying to. It would be like your last day of school ever, and knowing you’re never going back.
