Avril Lavigne performed in Monterrey, Mexico and was followed to a restaurant (La Catarina) by some fans who spotted her. They took this picture together and then, sadly, 2 hours later, Valeria had a terrible car accident and died. Valeria was driving but one of her friends (also pictured) survived with minor cuts. Valeria is the girl on the left.
