This post was originally supposed to share an Avril Lavigne playlist that’s going around called “The Softer Side.” However, when we went to copy the playlist from one of the music sharing sites it was available for download on, we got a BIG VIRUS WARNING! So if you come across the option to download an “album” called “Avril Lavigne: The Softer Side” DO NOT do it! If anyone wants to contest us on this warning, then leave it in the comments section, but from our experience, it’s just a sad way for someone to use Avril’s music to spread a virus.

Hey after doing some reviews on fan based albums i ran into this album “the softer side” after doing so i seen this post you left so regardless i DL the music and scanned it myself using AVG AND NORTON both did not find anything. So not everyone wants to spread a virus through this file. Deleted Afterwards anyway but yeah.
I download the album from the famous site Taringa, the REVICAR with kaspersky 2009, as I found no infected files
I downloaded two songs from it and didn’t get a virus.

Do you mean “The Softer Side”? It isn’t an album. It was disguised to look like a playlist, but it is a computer virus.
