Avril Lavigne Wins a SOCAN Award!

Premiere Of Nokia Productions' Spike Lee Collaboration Film

Avril Lavigne was just given a SOCAN Award (Society of Composers, Authors, and Music Publishers of Canada) for her songs, “Keep Holding On,” “When You’re Gone,” and “Girlfriend”!

Nelly Furtado and Michael Buble were also winners for “Say It Right” and “All Good Things Come to an End” (Furtado) and “Everything”.   Nickelback won an International Achievement Award.
