Avril Lavigne's Barcelona Cancellation Explained

Avril_Kingston30It was canceled without much fanfare (in United States news, at least) but Avril Lavigne canceled her concert in Barcelona, Spain.  This time, it wasn’t due to acute laryngitis, but because of a truckers’ strike!  Major roads in the city were blocked off as a part of a protest against high gas prices (wouldn’t we ALL like to protest THOSE!!).  This prevented Avril from being able to actually get to the venue.  Yikes!  High gas prices are even ruining concerts now!
